re: Anybody into competitive Darts?

Super fun to watch, I love how the crowd gets so into it.

ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTYYYYYYYY!

CHOKE-ic has been awful this series.

Saw a comparison pic on twitter showing how much weight he’s lost in just a couple weeks. Something is wrong with him.
As a supporter of Dort’s dirty play, I support Jokic starting a fight after losing again and playing like complete shite.

As someone who thinks Shai is the BITW, I am allowed to call out Jokic for missing 9 straight shots to end the game.

Most people have Amazon Prime.

It’s not so much that Ewin is a game-changer that we need to get back. But it would have been nice for him to stick around as a backup big man

Exactly. He averaged a double double in the tournament, losing a guy like that would not be a good thing. Bird in the hand, etc.

Yeah they shouldn't have paid Braun so much. He's not that good.

Also the Nuggets shot FORTY free throws last night and didn't crack 100. Holy shite!

Strange phenomenon these days, where grown men RUSH to let everyone know they don't watch basketball. Starved for attention I guess.

To the guys that swarm every NBA thread to let everyone know you don't watch it, try talking to a woman. It's not too late to get back out there.

Does Jokic become CHOKEic if they lose this series?

He’s been terrible this series. He’s always been bad on defense but it’s like he’s not even trying.

He had a team worst -21 tonight. :wha:

I could insult your math skills but you’ll just twist my words and make up fake arguments to make yourself feel better anyway.

the play in the frontcourt didn't match the play in the backcourt and Ewin was half of that problem.

Interesting, you called Acuff a generational player, and we hit a wall because our bigs didn’t match his play.

So we just need two generational bigs plus a generational point guard to have more success. Bold statement!

We don't win a tournament without one of the starters. Really bold statement.

You having a bad day?

You want to call a player "great" because he had a good game against one of the worst teams in the conference?

No, I originally pointed out that we don’t win the SEC tournament without him. Then you conveniently left that game out.

Then in a tight game against High Point he had 14 and 12 with 4 blocks. I don’t understand the hate for him.

Two of the three tournament games he had less than 4 rebounds and 8 points.

How about the Ole Miss game?

Stop. Don't. Come back.

???

Ewin started slow but was great by the end of the year. We don't win the SEC tournament or make the Sweet 16 without him.

Jokic owns Gobert, he’ll be fine. Their defense is god awful and probably the worst in the playoffs

It's gonna get interesting for sure. This was the series I had the most trouble picking when I filled out my bracket.

Wish we could see a Nuggets/Spurs second round but that just got a lot less likely. Spurs/Wolves will still be good though.

China — which has long backed the regime in Tehran — has a key interest in the Strait being reopened, with Beijing being the largest buyer of Iranian crude. The blockade directly cuts off that supply and potentially has a far-reaching impact on the Chinese economy.

Interesting, I was just talking about this very thing last week and certain posters said China would continue to get all the oil they wanted from Iran.

I think it’s definitely a notable advantage, but not necessarily unfair.

Right, not unfair but very lame and Rory is lame for doing it. It cheapens his win and makes him look like a dweeb tryhard.

This, along with a host of other issues, is causing the Masters to lose its prestige.

OKC now has a pretty easy road. Only need to beat one real team to make the Finals. (Den/ SA/ Min)

Yep, looking forward to it. Still can’t explain why the Spurs sold that game on purpose.

Unless they think Minnesota will beat the Nuggets anyway and they have a better shot against them. But that’s a lot of assumptions.

They could have also forced OKC to play Denver in round 2. There’s no good explanation for losing that game intentionally.
