So pathetic

Says the Nuggets fan who automatically downvotes every post about OKC because your “best player in the world” has been at home for a month and didn’t win shite.

Grizzlies and Wolves fans handled their beatings so much better than Nuggets fans. Get over it dude.

Can you link where all these people were saying “Pacers gonna sweep”? K thanks…

The finals thread after game 1.

You can say it was a dogshit no call.

Yeah I said the refs missed a travel call. Wasn’t the difference in the game by a long shot.
Lots of exaggerations in your post. Thunder were the better team last night, that’s all there is to it. Whining about the refs is loser behavior.

And if you really want to bring the refs into it, they were giving Maturin every opportunity to keep it close and he missed like five free throws in crunch time. Haven’t seen anyone mention that yet.
So much talk about today’s NBA not being physical enough, and the same people want more push off fouls to be called. Grow a pair.
Where was all the “rigged” talk when the Pacers had yet another devil magic win with a buzzer beater in game 1?

All I saw was people saying Pacers were gonna sweep and OKC wouldn’t be able to come back from it.

But now people think it’s rigged because the refs missed a travel call?
Man I’m not getting too excited yet, game 1 broke something in me and made me question if I want to watch sports anymore at all.

I’ve been questioning my whole life for the past week.
Yeah I think Indy knows deep down that their chance to win it all hinged on winning tonight and going up 3-1.
Tiki solitaire is way more fun.

Crazy that the Thunder win after only making 3 threes the whole game.

I was getting pretty jaded during the third. I was thinking I guess that’s all the NBA really is now, who can make the most threes. Glad to be wrong.

This series is flipped on its head. Pacers had all the momentum but that’s definitely flipped OKC’s way now with a best off three and two games at home.

Thunder are 9-2 at home in the playoffs and both losses were buzzer beaters.

Tough way to lose but I’m not worried. Chet and JDub disappeared offensively in the 4th or we would have cruised. They were missing so much easy stuff at the rim.

Oh well, on to the next one. Looks like it’s gonna be a long series.

Wreck em.

I started believing in Sooner magic in that last game and then Tech slammed the door on them. Nothing against OU but I’m glad we’ll have a different champion this year.

Went 0-5, needs to work the count a little better. Grounded out a couple times on first pitches.

He’ll settle in, guy has all the tools to have a good career. Looking forward to watching him develop.

And it’s tied.

Hope Cags can get a hit on his big day. Got to see him play for NWA, he wasn’t there long!

They matchup perfectly with the Thunder to knock them off. If one team is built to beat the Thunder it is the Pacers.

That’s not true either. They have the worst isolation defense in the playoffs and Shai is the best iso scorer on the planet. They have no one to guard him. He averaged 40 a game against them this season.

Pacers are just as good

Not even close. The point differential between these two teams is the highest in finals history. Thunder also play in the tougher conference.

People just like to say stuff it seems. Doesn’t matter if it’s rooted in reality or not.

OKC’s defense is a few steps above what Indy has seen this postseason

Yeah the whole “#1 offense vs. #1 defense” is misleading because OKC doesn’t just have the best defense in the NBA, it’s the best in NBA history.

And Indy’s O rating is only two points better than OKC. Their defense is much much worse as well. They have the worst isolation defense in the playoffs by far and they’re going up against the best iso scorer in the world.

Today's product truly does not compare to when Dr. J, Bird, Magic, Kareem, Hakeem, MJ, Reggie Miller, Ewing, Starks, Maxwell, etc. played.

Survivorship bias. The product today is much better just like every other sport.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug!
Got to see him play for NWA and I was telling anyone who would listen to see him now because he ain’t gonna be here long. He homered in the game we went to so that was pretty sweet. Dude has been crushing the ball at every stop.
Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, and San Diego State are joining in 2026 and Gonzaga is joining as a non-football member.
Oregon State and Washington State are still technically in the PAC 12 and other schools are joining. They’re keeping the name for now.
