Yea, it used to be more common but I want to say int he 90s the NCAA ruled you cannot have a 2 teams with color jerseys. I remember UCLA & USC did it anyway and the away team got penalized a TO but the other team agreed to take one too.

They recently, like 7 years ago, did away with it. UGA & UF did it but then Kirby put a stop to it. Not sure if he did it because we lost every time but first time we stopped was 2017 so it worked.

Yea, Fred dies cause he’s old and the Roci makes extreme maneuvers fleeing the Free Navy. I was surprised Fred died now. But they also brought Bull in after he died in the books and Avasarala was SG before the rocks fell so a few deviations in the books. Along with Drummer being Bull/Michio Pa/Drummer in the books. She’s more Pa last 2 seasons.

I want to say half the earth perishes, so like 15 billion. I’m
Interested to see how the show portrays that because not only does the blast and tsunamis wipe out people but the sky has debris for years. Earth is a gray ball and it leads to the years after being the “starving years” because earth is still pivotal in growing food for the belt and colonies.

Damn this shite is like Independence Day! Season 5’s kicking it up a notch for sure

It has been great so far. I have been waiting so long for this season knowing how insane it got. It's crazy to think this show, which to this point has shown the characters avert MOST disaster (except for Eros, Deimos, and South America) but now Earth gets hit with 3 asteroids.

I know there are shows about post apocalyptic scenarios and infinity war saw a lot but it's pretty enormous the scale of destruction for a terrorist attack.

I'm a sucker for the Expanse series, I think all my posts on here are about that . The guy who does it, though, does very good. And you'll easily pass that road trip with that series.

Also, for a quicker, really entertaining one I'd recommend Green Lights by Matt McConaughey. He does the narration and it really is enjoyable. I listened to it over a month and my wife finished it in a week lol. It's only something like 7 hours but it's fun.

I have the One X and just started playing. Im still in the prologue period so this is possible to change but so far it looks really good. I've definitely seen bugs, like my car floating randomly and then when I am hauling arse through the city in my car i can see my xbox is about to set ablaze and crash as the screen slows down but usually fixes itself pretty quick.

The game started slow but I am still enjoying it but I am also not a big gamer.
So I don't play a ton of games but I got this one for a black friday deal. I have an Xbox One X but not planning to get the Series X until I can get a TV to fully use it on.

So I guess I can try playing it first but I've seen all the criticism on older consoles. Is the One X better at handling it or should I return/wait till February after the release? Annoying question but I just haven't seen much said about the one x.

The rant already saying LSU turning UGA in for "tampering"
I have a lot of fricking trouble believing this was covid because it sure as shite feels more like Vanderbilt having its frickin team quit and the program deciding that they’d rather cancel a game than get their asses handed to them. If they’re incapable of fielding a fricking roster and fulfilling their obligations as a member institution then why in the hell are in the conference or the sport. It’s bullshite. If it comes out that at the same time they fired their HC and had supposed opt outs and team “revolts” they actually had a covid outbreak I’ll be really god damn interested in seeing the facts.
If you’re going to cop out of a game and use covid as your god damn guise that’s cowardly shite. At least have the balls to forfeit because that’s what this is. The fact Georgia loses a game, a practice, and senior day is the icing on the shite Sunday.
And you know, I may be proven wrong. Maybe covid did run rampant through the program. But ill remain skeptical at best. Seems like a program in tatters finding a quick out despite being perfectly fine with taking their SEC check.
Dasher implying the game might be in jeopardy and that chaps my arse
Mariner Valley, baby. Indian/Chinese roots with Texan culture and accent. With a cultural make up like that I think it’s not crazy to think that’s hard to find
Oh yea and the Void Cities/EMC vs the Heart of the Tempest would’ve been nuts too. Aliens worlds, huge battles, alien events, aging the cast. Would’ve been a pretty big task.

I did that some time last year. It only took about three weeks. I meant to watch one episode each night, after I got in bed. I ended up watching two or three episodes a night. Stayed up til 2 am one Thursday night because I had to see how a season ended. I tried to find something else I could get into as much afterwards, but haven't satisfied that Jones. Tried a bunch of other sci-fi shows, but they all had goofy aliens that seemed silly.

I have never binged a show as hard as I did the Expanse. I couldn't find anything ever so then I proceeded to binge read the series. Like absurd. I think I started the Expanse over Christmas break last year and by end of Feb I finished the show and 8 books. Not someone who is prone to binging TV or like crazy.
I think that they are going to keep to the book per season approach (except Book 1 spanned 1.5). I am convinced that S6 will end with Book 6.

It's a logical, clean ending as the next book is 30 years later. The next 2 books, and presumably the 3rd, are also pretty damn ambitious. Based on what I've read, the show is already pretty expensive so I guess I shouldn't be too shocked.

I think they will do a fine job and the show will end well with Season 6. That said, can't help but be disappointed if we don't get those last 3 books. I have seen some wonder if a movie or short series could follow with enough demand but the final 2 books (and again, assuming for the 3rd) are some of the longest and full of detail.

So who knows, maybe it is picked up down the road. I am glad we won't be left with our peckers in our hand if it got the plug prematurely but definitely a bummer it's going to wrap up.

re: QB situation

Hmm I’m not sure that I’d point to pass blocking as the reason for any of our QB woes. Several choices that I’d think would be far more appropriate...
