Lovely to see Everton making a statement about the referees
I assume they referenced Pickford kicking the shite out of Taty in the box?

Not in the trailer above, but that little guitar twang followed by the Jackass theme song will forever be etched in my brain. I was just about in Middle School when Jackass was on MTV + the first movie came out.

Not just presidents.
In 2022 a person was arrested for plotting to kill Kavanaugh.
In 2017, a person was shot after he attempted to kill about of GOP congressmen practicing for their annual baseball game.
ETA: and Charlie Kirk of course.

Soo.. im down. Question, do they bring back the tennis ball shooting game?
As a kid, I could never decide if being the gladiator or the contestant would be more fun in that game.

Many probably still could if they had a mind for it.

Well... in the 80s we weren't a bunch of soft arse pussies with men walking around thinking they were chicks and chicks lopping off their tits because they thought they were men. So there's something to be said for "toxic masculinity".
While true - the 80s did give rise to the hair metal, effeminate looking rock stars.
But to your point, despite their looks, they were very much into women

The rise of travel ball fricking sucks
I guess I never actually check, but every local restaurant, dentist, and oil change, would have team photos of each year they sponsored. Not sure that's even a thing anymore.

My boys played in the 90’s and early 2000’s, and there were at least 4-6 teams in each age group in all of the local communities.
I played for 3 years. In those 3 years I played for:
Local Mexican restuarant
Local Dodge dealership
Local building contractor.
The local bagel shop was the powerhouse of my last year playing. Carolina Bagel I think they were called.
Also, the local rec was known as the Dixie League.

Somewhat surreal to see Liverpool practice on campus:

Give OP some slack. He's clearly on Artemis II and has a time delay.

Weird. I bet if I started a thread that said NYC and DC should be nuked, the Poli Board would probably celebrate.

For someone that doesn’t care about WBB, it’s weird you started an alter just to start threads about it.

Carolina fans, do you think she might leave usc to coach her Alma mater UVA?
I’m pretty sure UVA wanted her years ago - and by that I mean when we were on the ascendancy but before we had won any national titles. If she turned them down then, there is no reason to think she won’t now.
We’re simply willing to outbid any school for her.
The only way I think she leaves is if there were an NBA offer or something.
