never seen a US team so nsync with one another

I mean this in the best way possible - that game was very un-American of us.
Super behind on this so this has probably already been mentioned but super happy at our response to the Paraguay goal. We were in complete control and then took a sucker punch out of nowhere. Instead of panicking or acting like we’re going to blow it, we immediately went on the attack and put the pressure back on. It was nice to hit them with that exclamation mark at the end.

not the Tanner glory days

Did you know Tanner isnt even our winningest coach of all time? I bet you didnt.

It's been a huge missed opportunity and not something worth holding onto for 15+ years

Opportunity for who? For us to lose 4 midweek games to Coastal per year?

Recruits don't care about that crap. CCU tried hard balled us in 2010, and yes, karma got their arse that year. But what net benefit could our program have had for rescheduling them? Whether they were on the schedule or not has literal 0 impact on our program. Neither program's success or failure depends on it.

Dude was an assistant coach for 24 seasons and never once sniffed a head coaching job. He was then gifted a head coaching job at his alma mater and the only place that even wanted him as an assistant coach. Yeah, he had a great first season and a good post season run. But, he's been a head coach for 2 seasons and never built anything himself.

Nice to see he makes you feel so uncomfortable

I think it’s pretty clear you haven’t read the responses. Just about every single reply mentioned it was a good hire, including nearly every LSU fan. Some questioned his class, which certainly has some merit (just like it does when people question Wade and Kiffin). Maybe go back and check out the replies.

Sure, but also you have LSU fans starting threads on the MSB titled:

Douchebag Kevin Schnall (Coastal Carolina) to be S. Carolina head coach

Deep in-state ties. Strong recruiting. Will be bringing quality assistants with him.

Not going to lie - it has been frustrating to watch good coaches at smaller in state schools constantly reject us or get picked off by bigger programs (in both baseball and basketball) when they should’ve been our #1 targets. Glad to see we finally got one that I think will work out.
Great photo. Can only be outdone if Team Japan goes full samurai in theirs.

Apparently there are a bunch of pussies that are saying this is misogynist

Is this one of those situations where some newspaper finds like three random people on X that said they didn’t like it so write an article about how “controversial” and “troubling” it is?

England, unfortunately

I don’t know. They must’ve had the easiest run of matches for any WC qualifying team ever. They’ve had two friendlies against two decent teams since - drew one and lost the other.

Not going to lie. Samantha seems like the type that would frick anything that walks.

I mean, as someone that loves and is currently on a rewatch - so is everyone in Mad Men. Fantastic show though.
Head says Spain, although they’re the favorites so not à reach.

With that said, I put $10 on Germany.

Super late to this one so it's probably already been said - but it's nice to see a stadium that large filled up by mostly US supporters.

Stadiums that large are usually empty or filled out by the supporters of larger teams.

Do you not have siblings? I can speak from experience when I say kids raised by the very same parents, in the very same house, given the exact same opportunities (or lack thereof), can have very different lives based on their personal decisions.

Modern day knock out win by 2026 would you have believed me?

I’d say Mexico performing even worse over that period still helps that result.

I think I get what you’re trying to say. People throw around these terms like hotcakes now for no other reason than to get money, get attention, and deflect blame. So much so that it nearly eradicates any meaning of the terms.

But if you don’t believe Western countries historically didnt believe in or enact policies based on racial superiority… I simply don’t know what to tell you.
