Worst rule in sports. I'm okay with the offense being punished, somehow, for fumbling through the endzone. But a turnover? Nah.
Love this pregame interview. Looks like he’s about to do a Nirvana cover band set.

That'll get the poli board as angry as Bad Bunny.

And during the years (of the 21st century) that we did not play one another, we had the better team, with the better record, against better competition.

I mean, the SC-A&M series started during what has legitimately been one of our worst 10-11 year stretches in history, and that's saying something. Trust me, I wish we had started the series earlier (the league missed a Manziel vs Clowney game by 1 year). I'll go ahead and add some wins to our column.

Just checking in. Have I missed the signing ceremony?

I will say these, I only notionally pay attention to our WBB team - but at least they're winning. At least someone is. Quite frankly, our women way out pace our men across all sports where both play.

Also, to your point, I don't pay attention to anything really except for football, basketball, and baseball (and even some of that has fallen off), but if I happen to scroll through the channels and see like our women's soccer team in the SECT-championship or something? Hell yeah I'll stop and root for them.

I tried to watch Scrubs a while back and I couldn't get through the original. Not sure why I'd be excited for a revival of it.

ETA: I absolutely loved the original Scrubs. I'm just not sure about this though. As was mentioned earlier, revivals like this rarely work. Hell, I didn't even like that weird kind of Scrubs medical school spinoff season. Plus, I don't think a lot of the original Scrubs' humor would fly today.

Must be awesome to be addicted to something to the point that you’re so ashamed you have to hide it from others. Might as well marry a woman and suck dick on the side. fricking dope heads.

They probably hide it because they don’t want to have to deal with shite like this.

And no, I don’t partake.

Genuinely impressive investigative work. And scary what people can do when they put their minds to it.

just don’t think this version of Pennywise is that creepy. The haircut and big forehead are just dumb. The old Penn

Agreed. I am enjoying the show, but for the most part I do think it’s lacking in the actual “man that was a scary scene” department, with a couple of exceptions.

And there have been some moments that have taken me out of the story. For example, I did not expect us to get a war movie, solider consoling his dying friend scene.

AT LEAST 1/3rd of those yards came in garbage time 4th quarter drives with Stafford force feeding him the ball

So stats dont count if you’re losing the game? How many yards did Kupp and Julio have in garbage time in their best seasons?
He really is getting into James Franklin territory. Stacks wins against shite competition, including us, but when it comes to getting the big win against a highly ranked opponent his winning % is atrocious.

ETA: I don’t know this for sure, but I had to guess even Beamer has more big wins despite way less total wins.

Oh it's at the Greenbrier? OK cool, that place is on the bucket list.

I'll tell you, parts of it give of a real Shining vibe.

As for this team, well just now we were down 7 with 44 seconds to go. Our guy decided to dribble around for 10 second, spin move, and lose the ball with 30 seconds to go.

I agree with this too. I hate that “people walk in on someone at the worst possible second so it looks like they’re doing something bad” trope.

And if it was all in her head then what was she hacking away at with the chisel that caused all the blood?

Agreed, it was a different attack method than weve normally seen - but just because it looks like it’s hacking away at something real and it looks like a lot of blood doesn’t mean it’s there (see Beverly’s scene when her dad can’t see the blood thrown all over the bathroom)

Speaking of that scene, I found it interesting that an adult could see the balloon. Outside of the original group of kids that became adults in the main story, has an adult ever been aware/been able to see that stuff?

I guess to play my own devil’s advocate - Pennywise only prefers to hunt children - but it certainly isn’t a requirement. He can and has attacked adults. Honestly, that’s why I don’t have an issue of him going after Marge even though, as far as we know, he hasn’t been targeting her. I believe in the books (and in the theater attack scene earlier in this show), Pennywise will attack if the opportunity presents itself. It doesn’t always require scaring the prey for a bit.

Any shot against Butler on Friday? They still a good mid-major?

I don’t know anything about Butler, but just looking at their wiki page they definitely aren’t the Butler of old. They’ve had 1 winning season (18-15) since the 2020-21 season.
Not going to lie, this post 43 of this thread. I legitimately wasn’t sure it’d get this far all season.
