He should have in 2010.

A player died just a few days before this game.

Somehow people always forget that. That reaction and the "for you my friend/frick you mother fricker" gif are from the same game where Les was a douche to a team that had just lost redshirt freshman Garrett Uekman the day after the Mississippi State game the week before. Up 38-17 with just a few seconds to go, LSU passed the ball to keep the game going and kicks a last second field goal to win by 41-17. Incredibly crass and shitty move after starting the game with both teams kneeling at midfield to honor Uekman.

Jonell Smith would coach cirles around Chad Morris.
The first reponse and it should come quickly if anyone ever ask the worst coach in SEC history. CHAD MORRIS

Don't believe he ever beat Saban.
Most didn’t and I don’t think anyone that did ever did so the same year that they went to a BCS bowl. Also, the 2010 game was incredible until Alabama’s last drive - by that point there wasn’t enough time left for our O to make it back on the field and our D was gassed and getting pounded by Mark Ingram. The only two regular season games Petrino lost that year was that heartbreaker to Bama(hats off coming in and winning in one of the wildest crowds I’ve seen in Fayetteville) and Auburn with Ryan Mallett knocked out early from a cheap shot by Nick Fairley led by Cam Newton. Never said we were flawless or that Petrino dominated everyone but he had us on what appeared to be a holistic upswing and quite a few people were starting to get the “oh shits” when our name came up on the schedule. Petrino may be a lot of things but he is a damned good coach and in certain regards a lot like Saban. The second he hit campus players were back in classrooms, back in the weight room, and generally working their asses off - unlike Nutt who played favorites and didn’t know how to keep a bunch of little shits in line.

That game was pretty close until the fourth quarter and the game began to get out of hand from a very emotional Arkansas team.
Arkansas the year before took a knee at the goal line in Little Rock, showing good sportsmanship towards LSU.

Muschamp went .571 at UF..while not great at all he is not even close to the coaches on this list.

Agreed with Moorhead and Arnett. Lebby not even close.

not to meniton his best season won 11 games and finished in the top 10. He wasn't "UF head coach" material but he doesn't belong anywhere remotely close to this list

Will Muschamp should not be on here at all...571 win percentage is not top ten wrose at all
Muschamp- 571 win perc
Billy Napier was .497..worst for a non interium since 1949 at UF. He was very, very, very bad.

As far as I'm concerned, you can make Pruitt, Dooley and Jones 1-2-3

John L Smith was a head scratching hire for the hogs.
Brian Kelly was a waste of money for us.
Dubose got bama to the orange bowl I believe not bad
Shula had them in the top 10 when we played in '05
I liked Mumme he did some good things and gave us Mike Leach
Croom beat bama so I liked him
The rest of them sucked

I would say you are only looking at one side of the coin . . . perhaps, naturally. But Muschamp also had a record of 28-30 at USC, and we don’t forget. He definitely deserves to be included on ANY list of lackluster HC’s.

And yet Billy Napier had about the same record at Florida (22-23) as Muschamp had at USC (28-30). So, Napier shouldn’t be on the list either?
