re: Angriest that you've been after a College Football game?
On Texas' last drive to kick a game winning field goal four ref calls occured.
#1- Texas clearly fumbles and OU recovers. Ref call the Texas RB down.
#2- 3rd and 10. Texas QB throws a ball way over the receivers head. OU defender gives the receiver a shove as the ball goes over receiver...

OU vs. Oregon 2006
The most egregious call I have ever seen, which even got reviewed.
1. The kick didn't go 10 yards before an Oregon player touched it.
2. OU's Allen Patrick actually recovered it.
Then when Oregon gets the ball, on a play that would have ended the game, PI is called on O...

They don’t hate Ole Miss. They’re just not fans of Lane. Only reasons I can think of is because of how he left Tennessee or because he doesn’t kiss arse.
Or because he's an a-hole?...
It is pretty easy to see how someone who is from the SEC and doesn't understand the nuanced differences between the two programs/situations might think that.
All they see is two old Big 8 "midwestern" schools in low population states... and that light goes off in the geographically challen...
But I still think it will end up being Oklahoma. They will be to the SEC what Nebraska is to the big 10.
I guarantee NEITHER of them will lose to Vandy 3 times in their first 10 SEC meetings like Mizzou did. ...
You fat headed Sooners are gonna hate this conference. You are the SEC’s Nebraska.
Even if this were true, and it suggesting it shows complete football ignorance, is that worse than being the SEC's Missouri?...
You should tell this to all the players choosing us over the sooners including the ones on your roster currently
Weird flex when Mizzou can't even break the top 20 in recruiting. Talk to OU fans when you break the top 10. ...
As far as the "arch" on Owen field. It is called a "crown" and believe it or not, they cut the crown way down when they installed the turf in 1970. Before that (when it was grass) it was even higher.
Thanks, I couldn't pull that word out of my brain :)
Grass doesn’t grow well at Faurot. George Toma, the longtime groundskeeper for the Chiefs, said the problem with Faurot was that there was way too much sand so the roots had nothing to hold onto. That's why especially early in the season you would see clumps of turf come up, which is why astr...
Another interesting point is that the ACC GoR contract is under lock and key, no actual official copies of it exist publicly. The FSU lawyers had to go to the ACC office and view it under supervision with no copies allowed, no pictures allowed, and no dictations allowed. Getting this suit fil...
