Georgia finished the game on a 14-0 run. And still lost by 25.
Yeah, by that time, STL had subbed out their starters so no one got injured.

I have no idea what it is, but whatever it is, they mudholed Georgia on a hard court...

That's a really sloppy written article. For instance, he talks about the SEC going from 12 teams to 16. What he should have said was the SEC is advocating the CFP go from 12 to 16 teams. The schools threatening to leave aren't wanting to leave the SEC, they want the SEC to leave the NCAA. This is just a bad journalist.

Agreed, and not surprising these days.

OU was first out, and I believe they declined the NIT bid.
Well, now I know why, they accepted invite to the Las Vegas tourney.
OU was first out, and I believe they declined the NIT bid.
I agree, the team can win 2 of 3 from anyone, but they can also lose 2 of 3. Anyone paying attention can see that one thing has killed Auburn this weekend: ATROCIOUS fielding, especially in the outfield.
Auburn hits their 7th HR of the weekend. They've got more than OU does. The wind is crazy, and Auburn's tying HR was hit right into the teeth of the wind.
As a sport, a lot of people just don't care for basketball. As for OU, right now they are not a basketball school, and haven't been since the early 2000's. Moser has been a disappointment and the fans haven't recovered form the 9 game conference losing streak this season. OU fans are not travelling to Nashville for a .500 team unless they live close.
The Big 12 has become a basketball conference.

I think OU will do a bit better than the preseason picks suggested.

Congrats, Sooners. I'm so sick of these terribly slow starts. No sense of urgency against a team trying to make the NCAA bubble.
Have you watched how many large 1st and early second half leads OU has blown this year?? Don't go anywhere.
Penn State/Michigan? Duke/Miami?? What is juicy about these. Is this a list of juicy stories behind the games?

Mickey Mantle always said that the only flaw in his game was being from Oklahoma.
Yeah, he did. But he meant that as a shot to everyone else, saying that those in NYC never took him seriously because he was from Oklahoma.
This is the big test for OU, 6-18 vs DB since 2011, 0-2 each of the last two seasons, and last year they gave up double digit runs in both games. Last time we swept them, we were in Omaha. This is only part sarcasm.
Does anyone find this thread a tad ironic??
I mean it is fun to watch, but it is highly annoying that decent teams refuse to come to Norman. We used to get good matchups in non-conference, that hasn't happened in the last two seasons. Mainly because the SEC teams were the only ones willing to come to Norman. Now they have to come, and nobody else wants to.
Ahh, don't know why I thought that was a three game. Well, a split was good.
Let's see how game three in the ASU series goes for OU, if they lose 2 of 3 to them at home, that will be a fairly good indication of how good we are, since they are arguably the best team in the Big 12.
OU comes from behind in the 9th to walk it off!

2020 wasn’t recognized as a real season by the NCAA, genius.
This is not true, while not counting for player eligibility, the NCAA recognizes Alabama's 2020 CFP natty on their website, no asterisk or footnote.

Dallas Baptist doesn’t even look very good. They just got swept by UTSA
Yeah, well OU was 0-2 against them each of the last two years, and 6-18 over the last 15 years, so in my mind, beating them would be a good start.
