It's always mind boggling to me why State doesn't have a better program that competes more often. One of a handful of schools in the country with a PGM program and 2 of the best courses in the state are a 30 minute drive from campus with an incredible practice facility at Mossy Oak.

Meh, depends on the program. You can make 4M a year winning 6 games at Mississippi State for 5+ years right now. NFL is cutthroat. You get 2 years max to show you're heading in the right direction.

Always enjoyed the company of South Carolina fans.
I'll even admit that the majority of Ole Miss fans from Mississippi are really good people. Got a bunch of good friends in that group.
TAMU fans are really nice, but they're almost too nice to the point where they wear it like a badge of honor. Very simp like behavior, but better than being an a-hole I guess.

I think I could make an argument for Mississippi State baseball just due to the following and investments made into the program over the last 40 years. Granted, demanding greatness doesn't always mean you will automatically achieve greatness. Baseball really is a fickle bitch aint it.
