We have had 4 of the worst and/or unserious SEC coaches in modern history..consecutively.
We simply wanted, needed and deserved a coach that was serious about building an overall football program.
BTW before the Mullen fans come with their capes on tight, running a program is more than calling plays. He had the program in a nosedive too.

Lane was weak for even saying he can't win @ Ole Miss or that he needed 5 stars to win.
Great coaches build programs; weak ones make excuses.
For a supposedly elite coach to claim he "can't win" without an entirely five-star roster is a soft mentality.
It’s sad that the media let him get away with it instead of calling it what it is: a cop-out. Instead they joined in with him and used it to knock ole miss.
Elite coaches don't ask for a head start; they build a culture that wins anyway. The media giving Lane a pass on that talking point just enabled a soft narrative and his soft arse ways.

Vandy is a good team but Golesh has a good opportunity to win his first SEC game on Saturday.
Maybe he won't try to be a tough guy this week in the PC
