re: Did you have a Favorite Band when you were 13 or younger? Are they still your Fav Band?

I picked up a guitar for the first time seriously (I took a couple lessons when I was about 8ish) when I was 13 because I heard the Black Crowes' "She Talks to Angels."
For a good long while they were my favorite as I tried to cop all the Rich/Jeff/Marc licks on those first two albums.
But, while I still appreciate/dig them, they are no longer my favorite.

That's a really great condo. I had a coworker years back that lived there and we spent way too much time at Schooner's.
OP, check this place. It hits all your marks.

Not much in the way of hotels/condos along the bayou/bay in Nville.
There is a Hampton on Rocky Bayou and there appear to be many VRBO type properties in N'ville/Bluewater Bay.
Good choice to avoid the crowds. Niceville has some good stuff:
3rd Planet Brewing (maker of my 2nd favorite IPA: Dank Side of the Moon)
Post 20 or Bamboo for sushi
The Local's Eatery for gastro pub goodness on the bayou
Basil and Baxter for bistro type food
Tradewinds for classic Italian

Funny how the difference in being a great American or a traitor is if you win the war.
Or, you know, who/what you're seceding from.
Do you suppose the Brits have a bunch of shite named after George W and the boys?

Great Americans don't secede. They're traitors.
re: What do “woke” people do if they actually see a transgender person in real life?

Fact not philosophy.
My Samoan buddy has a trans sister. On his island they call them fa'a fafine.
No hate, no stigma, just acceptance and love.
Check out the Mexican Muxe.
We're the outlier on this issue and it's fricking stupid.

Trans ideology is an entirely western export.
Trans hate is pretty much the western export.
Other cultures accept, and in some cases revere, these folks.

Odds are you've seen quite a few and just didn't realize it.
They're just people, let em live and go about your day.

It definitely is. Dano and Cusak play him so well.

They've bought the government and you think they're going to volunteer to pay more taxes?

Enter Universal Basic Income
The folks who have groused about gov't assistance since it was rolled out are going to suddenly decide to give out money to everyone in lieu of working?
It's more likely that the 1% will continue to hoard capital. What happens then?
