There is no penalty at whatever your FRA is (likely 67)

Thanks for that correction.

I’ll probably quit at 67 and take SS then.

I decided since I still have a 1099 gig that pays more than the social security level where they take back a chunk of the money, that I will wait until I’m older to take social security.

I think they take back 1 in 3 dollars after 22,000 and 1 in 2 dollars over 44000 or something along those lines.

The 1099 work is not extremely stressful, but whenever I stop it or age 70 (when there is no penalty for work) is when I plan to take it.

The recruiting picture does not reflect this stature.

we will be ok at QB but outside of the duel threat

Duel threat QB?

Is our offense the “run and shoot?”

Sounds like at least we have some tough hombres at QB who won’t take any guff.
That and Mississippi State would be the schedule when I was in college.

Along with Georgia Tech.

One thing that is sort of annoying is the fractionated broadcast of sports. Used to buy a cable package and 99% of what I might want to watch was on the plan.

Now the cable providers tier it. Then there are all of the streaming apps, Prime, Netflix, Peacock, ESPN+ and so on and so forth.

I cut back my cable plan recently which dropped ESPNU and NFL network. I doubt I’ll miss it. But I think more streaming options may be forthcoming. I will not spend anymore money to watch games that are not on what I already pay for- cable and prime.

Btw, streaming always is iffy on my feed. I prefer cable broadcast.

re: Hitting out of a divot

Golf is not a game of perfect.

I fill divots. There are always more to fill than I have sand to fill them.

I try to toe in the front wall of any divots I see. IF the ball is pinned against the front wall of a deep divot, it is a brutal shot.

I usually don’t hit into, but maybe a couple of divots per week playing almost daily.

I think it's going to be more like 60 teams. Teams like Kansas State, NC State, etc., will never challenge for a title, but their fans watch all the big CFB games, cut them out and their fans won't follow CFB near as much. We already have a 32 team fall football league.

Fair points.

Do you think most teams/leagues will be owned by private equity/investors/PIF like organizations?

The league model might be best ownership model with salary caps and such.

Did we get chairbacks and cup holders for every seat in the stadium?

1. Coach Ralph “Shug” Jordan

Landed at North Africa (Operation Torch)
Landed in Sicily
Landed in Normandy; received Purple Heart
Landed in Okinawa

I think it’s headed toward a 32 team CFP league based on revenue and results.

The next 32 will be a league where the top 4 get to regulate the bottom 4 of the CFP league.

It just depends on who offers the most money for whatever structure they want to see in the future.

Whole teams could be bought. As in Saudi PIF buys Ohio State or whichever school they want.
I check my accounts through their websites.

I don’t track with a spreadsheet.

Steven can coach those big men too. Should be a great combo

I hope he can.

I don’t make the coaching hires so I’ll just hope he is more successful this upcoming season.

The Frenchman and Bukky both have the size as does Oporum.

Bukky was part of a well coached program so I guess he will start with Ngoy as a backup.

Any update on Oporum status?
I hope he’s getting the help he needs and can get back to playing basketball IF that is good for him.

There are some times where it is advantageous to do so or makes sense to do so, especially if there is a large income disparity between spouses or a longevity concern witht he higher earner.”

^this.

I’m older than my wife, and was a much higher earner. I decided to wait bc it will better for her for me to wait.

To each his own.
At some point, it’s not a serious sport when the entire roster is remade year after year.

The portal has turned college sports into minor league baseball. It has some entertainment value, but it’s hard to be devoted to a team that constantly rolls over the entire 2 deep season after season.

It just looks unsustainable to me.

I used to know every player on the team and their hometowns. I know SWA is from Houston, Murphy was Birmingham, Pettiford NJ, but I don’t know all of them bc they just aren’t here very long.
Did the tour make changes since the beginning of LIV?

What changes did they make?

Taylor made tour response
Srixon Q-Star tour

I like the Tour Response.

You might can get some logo overruns of Titleist AVX.

The school and the donor have an attorney. This process for NIL will end poorly for 17-23guys with Uncle John representing them.

Do they make Bryson and Rahm do Korn Ferry?

Q school?

Would a sponsor give them an exemption?
