I legitimately don't see how Wright makes more money by lying about this.

Then there’s really no point in explaining anything to you….not just within the context of this thread….but truly anything.

There really is no way to explain something to someone who lacks an incredibly basic level of logical thought. This isn’t me just trying to shite talk you. I’m being blatantly honest.

And if you’re just being disingenuous…..then you truly need to understand just how stupid you’re making people think you are.

See, it isn't really my "schtick" to "play dumb".

I just question things that make no sense and the person being questioned usually realizes their theory may not actually add up and then crashes out as if you've done here.

Wright had already committed to LSU for a certain amount, he didn't stand to gain more or less by naming other schools. He didn't need leverage at that point.

His position agrees with the judges' rulings. How is that "burning it down?"

Does Lane think this guy is going to be the key to their season? What’s the point in all this?
He's explained this clearly. An experienced player is available on offense where LSU had a ton of defections due to coaching change. Why would you turn down the opportunity to have depth in a season that could potentially last 17 games?

It's fricking LSU. They'd burn it down for a crumpled cigarette.

Because a player was on a NFL roster two weeks before kickoff.

The NCAA and the conferences thought it was such an obvious concept there didn’t need to be a rule addressing it. But Subway didn’t think they needed to print “do not eat wrapper” on their sandwich wrappers until they began opening stores in Louisiana.

Everyone in the world is calling this out as wrong but a handful of greedy players, their even greedier lawyers, some judges who want to get reelected, and LSU fans.

Who is Koki? Twitter is not the best place to prove anything. Wright is a good ball player but LSU needs to learn to do what Ole Miss learned years ago. Lane’s purpose in life shouldn’t be about winning titles. With the money spent on his transfer class there is no excuse in dominating. But he can be petty and spend other people’s money just to try to piss off Ole Miss. Not smart but not unlike him to be a bitter child. One thing is for sure his offenses are difficult to stop. And he can turn them around overnight.

You really need someone to explain to you the correlation between money and a lie?

I know your schtick is to play dumb whenever someone presses you….but come on man.

In all fairness, I would think Wright's agent would have some evidence as to who contacted and presented offers.

This is the first time I've seen that (yeah I worked today and missed a lot of the details as they came out). But this could clearly get ugly and go to court, and things might be put forward as evidence there was a market.

We already know South Carolina offered others, as they signed someone.
Makes zero sense that Ole Miss wouldn't offer Wright, as the courts ruled him eligible. He's actually a more legit target for them (since he was on that team), than some guy in a classroom at Clemson- who they did go after and get earlier. People are just mad that he chose to go with Kiffin's offer at LSU... but then again, he did play in Kiffin's offense last year. So that's also not a shocker. South Carolina or Virginia Tech would have been the stunner, since there's no connection.

And those are weird schools to throw out as competition if you're looking to drive your price up. Not exactly known as big spenders.

So wright is being paid to lie about these other schools? that’s your take? Meanwhile, countless other players and schools are all doing the same thing. Your “logic” doesn’t hold any water. LSU doesn’t need wright to lie when there are other states filing suit also.

One thing that baffles me is how the SEC has such a sticking point on "eligibility"...

I mean, this timeframe is at least within LSU's add/drop timeframe. These players could at least enroll and take a class.

You compare that to Lanorris Sellers at South Carolina, who isn't even taking a class. He's just doing an internship at a golf course this fall. That sounds way shadier than what's going on here.

Maybe it was always going to happen, but it was always going to be lane to do it first. Both things can be true

Well what do you think happens to our TE room when we add a 2nd team All-Conference TE to the mix? What about an All-Conference DT? More depth and personal packages we can use with really good players plugging those spots.

What were you thinking?

Well, maybe they should look at Chambliss and Ole Miss. They printed the playbook on how to get someone eligible with a home court judge! The best part……the guys in question are younger than Chambliss!!!
