It’s incredible. I just wish it happened a month ago and not in fall camp.

Incredible strategy. Imply over and over again that stupid people cant arrive at your logic....of which you never layout (purposefully because then it would be available for scrutiny and you wouldnt be able to just tell yourself how solid it is and smart you are).
Then constantly say "i didnt say that was my logic" when people are forced to try and figure out what you are saying you know because you are smart, and we dont because we are dumb.
How about this? Just layout explicitly why Wright would lie about this, what he would have to gain, who (if anyone) asked him to lie, and what their reason would be.
That way we can all see the incredibly intelligent logical reasoning that we are incapable of possessing.
Otherwise, you may or may not be retarded, but are far too big of a pussy to actually find out.
(but i have a sneaking suspicion you either A) dont reply at all, somehow miss this one or B) respond in a way that continues to not directly address the simple thing being asked of you)

Do you know why?
Yes. The judges who are making these rulings are all up for reelection this fall and they are trying to appeal to low IQ voters.

Refresh my memory if I'm wrong, but didn't he choose to leave Ole Miss as your fans begged him to stay?
Why is he the bitter one?
Seems like he got his way.

I have a fairly reasonable expectation of the intelligence level of this board.
Do you honestly not understand the benefit of a recruit trying to convince a school that they have competition in the current NIL world?

Except Wright had already announced his commitment to LSU before the interview where he talked about the other schools.
This is that part you're missing that everyone else is aware of.

So you think he said "OM is offering me and the money is goooooood" and we just fired off a counter, then reported that OM was after him based on that suggestion?
Thats the logic we are missing?

I addressed that already. The article isn’t the primary point of the discussion. Earth existed before that article was published.

Do you think that it’s completely out of the realm of possibility that a recruit would do such a thing?

No doubt.
So let's use logic and deductive reasoning. If Wright is lying about the schools that were interested just to drive up his price, South Carolina and Virginia Tech are odd schools to use for that purpose, right?

My argument is simple. You’re hypocrites. You’re telling us to love Lane for a reason that you hated him for just a year ago.
Don’t give 2 shits if you “love LK or not”

Not really strange considering he played at Tech and I'm sure USC recruited him at some point being from Georgia
Posted on 8/28/26 at 12:28 pm to SidewalkTiger
Possible. But I also never stated that those two schools weren’t actively recruiting him.
But going back to the very original question from you that I answered.
You asked “what benefit would he have for lying” about holding offers from other schools. Do you not agree that a recruit lying about offers he holds could be a benefit for negotiating more money in NIL?

I don't doubt they were interested, I'm saying those probably aren't the schools you mention if you're just trying to drive your price up.
Outside of that, as an Ole Miss fan, I'm sure you know that Kiffin and Glasscock are pretty consistent as to what they pay certain positions and they already know Wright quite well and same with Wright knowing them. I doubt there was a ton of negotiation.

My question was more in reference to the interview that was after the fact.

We asked the number and it was more than we valued him currently
Posted on 8/28/26 at 12:31 pm to Darth_Vader
These schools and their coaches have no honor or integrity. It was all lost long ago when they started a blatant pay for play system and called it “NIL”. Ruined everything.

That's my point, I doubt there was a lot of back and forth. LSU was either good with his number or not.
LSU and Ole Miss had the leverage because they operate systems he knows, he'd have to learn everything from scratch anywhere else.

Its not "completely out the of the realm of possibility" that a recruit might be a compulsive liar. Or that he is suffering from schizophrenia and imagined it.
Its not the number 1 rank-order most likely, simplest explanation.
Were you under the impression that we just didnt consider possibilities and thought there was only 1 possible explanation? Rather than just applying occam's razor to this scenario and coming away with "Yeah OM probably tried to get their old player back"?
And this is the guy calling us dumb? Dunning-Kruger like ya read about.
