I love that we went to 4TE sets a few times. Those guys have earned that. Having those bullies brings up the confidence of the whole offense; the OL gets help, the backs get an escort; the QB gets more bodyguards. It slows down the opposing pass rush too. Those ends gotta keep their head on a swivel or Josh Ford/Danny Lewis might knock their arse into the dirt.
One thing I've noticed is the players seem to be having fun and coming together as a team.
That's a bit surprising these days with NIL and transfer portal. It's great to see. :usa:

Yes! I think Bama is one of the top programs for evaluating talent.
They need to keep looking at players that got much better after HS.
It's always been hard to predict how well an OL will do in the SEC.

I'd like to see him stay at Mss St, A 1st round rooky deal in the NFL can be around 50,000,000 for 5 years.
If he has a competent O line where he's at, well he will get paid and look very good.
Miss St needs to do all they can to keep him. It's rare a team like Miss St gets a QB that is possibly top 3 in the country.

I really didn't predict anything about Pete. And it's way too early for any meaningful grade, good or bad on Pete's head coaching ability.
He's very inexperienced as a head coach. Most head coaches need to be the boss at lower levels to learn the difference between the boss of it all vs a coordinator.
Coach Saban still says Pete was a great DC. Best interview ever. :dunno:
