You talking about the same Ole Miss trying to get things under control with all the shite Pete has gotten them into recently? That’s comical.

I’m just glad Ole Miss is the first to do it and honestly them thinking it would make us look bad that’s the most hilarious part. You think they really need $1 million too? No lol. It’s alllllll a PR stunt

It’s not called being a retard, it’s called what Lane is going to use against them. Ultimately they are coming after the players because they signed and 10 days later left and didn’t want to go play there. Do you not agree?

Likely when they get a legal determination on monies they feel they are owed per a contract that was signed.

These young men and women wanted to be paid and get their perceived share. Universities have created contracts to limit turbulence in the free flow of labor. If an athlete signs a contract with poor advice from representatives/others or a lack of self-understanding, they shouldn't be shocked when the other party enforces the terms of the contract in the event of breach. They wanted to adult. This is part of that.

Yep, I bet college coaches are going into 18, 19 and 20 year-old living rooms talking about liquidated damages.

Anytime you're talking about pretty much any type of financial exchange for a service or good. There is always a mountain of legal Jargon at the bottom. Do you read everything on the 10 pages of your cell phone contract before you agree by signing? Do 18 year old's want to talk about a bunch of "breach of contract" and "liquidated damages" type shite? Of course not, no one does but unfortunately here in the real world that's going to be a big part of it. You cant just accept an NIL deal, go pick up the check then pimp yourself out for the next NIL check immediately without doing any of the things your agreed to for the first check and then rinse and repeat as many times as the NCAA will allow.

like, it's only a piece of paper that was signed. They are called contracts and they are to bind an agreement.

Are you tarded?

I have always heard on here that LSU takes who they want. Why would you need an angle that Kiffin could use in recruiting?

Yeah, lsu or a collective is paying this.

I am 100% sure that was negotiated with the players agents on the front end.

And I am 100% hopeful that we drag this out for months to make OM look small and ridiculous for as long as possible. At least through the next recruiting cycle.
