re: How did Ole Miss & State miss on Gardner Minshew? - Quicksilver
A buddy of mine coached him in HS and even he is surprised by the success he's had. Ole Miss was signing Shea Patterson the next year so they wanted to sign someone they knew they could move to a different position if they needed to. That wasn't Minshew....

re: How did Ole Miss & State miss on Gardner Minshew? - Quicksilver
Not specific to Ole Miss or MSU. No one offered the kid. He camped at Ole Miss multiple times. He signed with ECU out of JUCO and was mediocre there as a starter. He almost gave the game up to become a coach. He's making it work right now but he has average at best arm strength. Chad Pennington m...

re: Season Long Stat Tracker for Class of 2020 Elite 11 Quarterbacks - Quicksilver
Robby Ashford was having a good year prior to the injury. Not sure why his rushing stats aren't on there but he had a few long TD runs. Nice fit for Rich Rod's offense. ...

Thumping your chest in a week old thread after beating directional Colorado. Incredible. SELA’s starter was more effective against us than Starkel or Hicks, if that makes you feel better. Poor Hogs....

Yes, long touchdown passes are easy to hit when the defense believes it’s a run play due to the rules of the game....

re: Starkel vs. Hicks - Quicksilver
I think Starkel has a better arm. No doubt in that. He also began his first drive with an illegal formation penalty and then immediately had to call a timeout to avoid a delay of game penalty....

Starkel vs. Hicks - Quicksilver
I keep seeing people say that Starkel was head and shoulders better than Hicks against Ole Miss. Hicks was pretty bad but Starkel really wasn’t much better. On the garbage td drive against the Ole Miss back ups, Starkel was 7/7 for 81 yards and a touchdown. Prior to that drive, he was 10/16 for 120 ...

Patrick Willis nominated for NFL HOF - Quicksilver
A lot of people will argue he didn't play long enough as he only played 7 full seasons but statistically he probably has a first ballot resume. 7x Pro Bowl 5x 1st Team All Pro 1x 2nd team All Pro 3x NFL Alumni Association LB of the year (As voted by former NFL LBs) What do you think?...
