Kudos to UNC's plate discipline. They were incredible tonight.

Ole Miss is pitching Rabe 1st because Rabe has been electric the last month whereas Elliot and Cade have been average.

He said he didn't call for an escort until after it had already happened. They weren't there when he claims it happened, so they have no way of knowing if it did or didn't.
Where are you getting this? Every source I've read says he had an escort from the university to the airport (which is about a mile if you aren't aware)
If Lane called for an escort, it would have been to the local police dept and not the highway patrol. Both would have records of the request. Neither do. None of that narrative makes any sense.

Who here knows what actually happened? No one really.
I think it's interesting that several Miss fans insist it didn't happen just because the police say they have "no record" of it happening.
It's more than a lack of a report. It's an insinuation that his Highway patrol escort point blank lied about it not happening. It's just an odd point to dig in on. Either one person lied for sympathy or a bunch of state officials who have nothing to gain from lying are conspiring against a football coach.

The count on the board is the amount of shots

Banks usually require notice for deposits of checks over a certain size. This sounds like McAfee being a dumb guy.

Pat bought a little over 5k shots.
Ole Miss fans will be getting in over the course of the day.

Getting a great uniform matchup tonight. Ole Miss is wearing their reds and UNC is wearing their Carolina blues.

North Carolina lucked out being on that side of the bracket but I'm not convinced that come out of it ahead. They have had some very close games and I'm not sure they have the hitting and pitching to handle a good hitting team.
I'm hoping the Ole Miss bats keep showing up when they need to. We haven't put up a ton of runs in the postseason but when we needed them, we got them. Ole Miss has the pitching to make the finals.

He said in a Monday press conference in Baton Rouge that an angry Rebel fan tried to run him off the road while he was driving with his son Knox to the airport in Oxford.

Bailey Holloway, a spokeswoman for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, told Mississippi Today that Kiffin had a safety escort from the Mississippi Highway Patrol when he traveled to the airport. The agency’s officers have no record of an automobile trying to push the football coach’s car off the roadway, Holloway added.

Still, attempting to run a car off a roadway is a criminal offense in Mississippi, and if someone attempted to harm the football coach, state and local police could launch an investigation.
Breck Jones, the public information officer for the Oxford Police Department, also said that the local police department received no calls or complaints about the alleged incident, and they have not been asked by anyone to look into it.

People keep saying this but the vast majority of the transfers they brought in have at least 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Having multiple years and intending to stay multiple years are different. Your most expensive players (Leavitt, Seaton, Umanmielen, Green, etc.) are planning on going to the draft next year if things go according to plan. They may not though.

Kiffin's on the list cause of the money put into his team that was built to win next year. To imply he's in any actual danger next year is absurd but he may lose a credibility hit if he goes like 8-4.

I think the logic here is that unless they absolutely bottom out, he's not getting canned. He will survive 5-7+ most likely but would probably be on this list in 2027 in that scenario.

I wouldn't say Sorsby, I blame Maguire and TTU for even pushing the issue.

It gained traction when MSU won in 2021 but Ole Miss and Arkansas blew it up so much in 2022, they had to change the way they had them distributed. Think the record has been set each year since then.

Tennessee, Florida, and A&M all had a chance to take up the other spots on that side. Two of them were favorites in their regional.

Both Troy and WVU beat SEC teams along the way.

The NCAA could have started collective bargaining discussions years ago where this would be a violation of the agreement and therefore be punishable by them, but they keep throwing their hands up in the air to Congress
