Lane straight up said tradition matters yesterday to these recruits...natties and Heismans too..etc. Oxford it is for Lane forevvvvverrrrrr
Yeah, Coach O and Kelly had a real rough ending collecting all their millions. I’m sure Lane‘s not interested in that at all.
Yeah, because he went 7-5 and 6-6 afterwards…and all he wanted to do was chase tail. Would you have kept that guy around? Serious question?

O left LSU a very happy man with that buyout and he can still come back and everyone still love him, just not as HC. Nobody has any ill will toward O. He straight up said he would consider coming back and coach the D line with Kiffin at LSU…not long ago. Go look it up. I guess that means he still has no issues with LSU like you would like to assume.
LSU doesn’t have to fantasize much about an Ole Miss coach leaving and then winning a national championship here. Already happened lol. You think Lane didn’t watch his best buddy Ed Orgeron, of all people, come to LSU and win a national championship and think he can’t come here and do the same? And you know Coach O is in his ear about it since he wants to come back. Just something for you guys to be watching out for.
But, unfortunately, according to the Gator fans...his ex wife went to UF so we need to worry about that. Oh and dreams of being Spurrier
Win TWO national titles...hell, maybe even more :nana: Come on down Lane, your buddies O, Frank and Austin want to reunite and finish what you all started. Hell, Golding is even from South LA and has coached a bunch in this state, you know he is game. :geauxtigers:
Lane can come here and do what no other coach has done.....win 2 natties! :nana: :geauxtigers: Plenty of legacy left to still go around here in da Bayou :)
It comes down to this hire....if we flop on this one in the end, then yes we are going to lose elite status. Its why this one is so important.

Davis cannot be shown the door fast enough. Can’t wait to get a new OL coach! Desperately needed. With a crappy oline you truly are fricked in this league. You cant have a functional offense and that keeps the defense on the field way too long. And everything is screwed. I’m almost just as excited about the new OL hire as I am the head coach.
If Lane‘s goal all along is just a hamstring the LSU and Florida coaching searches then he still just as big of a piece of shite as I always thought he was. Something tells me he’s changed a little bit.
You know, I do find it odd he has not trolled LSU recently. And believe me, he has had plenty of opportunities.

Just saying ;)
Lane has a rebuild literally every year at OM
Honestly the melt OM fans would have due to him leaving, and melt Bama fans would have due to jealousy would seriously make this hire so much sweeter lol. your hiring the best coach available right now AND pissing in your 2 main rivals cereal bowl at the same time….please sweet little baby Jesus make this happen
The whole college football world is scared to death of us getting a legit coach and you know it. You and Ole Miss fans are over there praying that Kiffin doesn’t come because you know what he could accomplish here. Stop trying to keep your heads in the sand and make yourselves feel better. O flopped after the national championship and BK was never the right fit. If we do find the right fit. Everybody is gonna be in real trouble and you know it. Keep praying that doesn’t happen.
