I do feel bad for him, he just doesn't seem the same since his dad passed away. The fire is gone so all they're left with is the worst of CPM. At least LSU had the CPM fire for a while until he petered out. He's such a great man and he genuinely cares about his players but the man just doesn't seem to get it.

re: Do you contribute to NIL?

I donated to LSU's NIL fund after Bryce Underwood left us at the alter. It was a sizeable contribution (for my standards) and it helped me tremendously in my ranking for football ticket relocation selection time, which was my biggest goal regarding that donation.

I completely support helping LSU be more competitive in the NIL arena but I do not support the tax exemptions states, Louisiana included, are putting forth for NIL earnings though. For this reason, I will be donating monthly to TAF instead of NIL because I still want the perks that come with that (priority points, etc). I realize those funds will likely find their way through some back door process to NIL anyway but at least I can justify donating to TAF in my mind. NIL is a complete shitshow right now and until they figure it out, I won't be giving another dime to it.
I could see that happening too. I wanted him gone in his last few years at LSU but a first year head coach in any sport deserves some time to try to right the ship. Tough place to be in for Gamecock fans in my opinion. I don't know what he was thinking taking that job. Should have gone out on top from LSU and sailed off into the sunset but now his failure at South Carolina will be part of his legacy. I respect his desire to give it a try, but he should have seen the writing on the wall. Must've felt he had something to prove after the way his tenure at LSU ended.
Do they fire him after his first year or will they give him another couple years to try to right the ship? I'm still surprised that they hired him, it was so out of left field and unexpected. He did great things at LSU but the game has passed him by and he just doesn't have the fire he used to have in his glory days at LSU. Do Gamecock fans want him gone or do y'all want to give him another year or two? It's crazy seeing South Carolina perform so badly in baseball.

Genuinely interested in your opinions on him. What do y'all want?
She has a ton of faults but she was the first to call this a terrorist attack when the FBI was specifically saying it wasn’t.

Credit goes to her for calling it like it was.

Hand up, I had no idea he had been hired by South Carolina. Yikes.

You’d have been in for one hell of a shock when we play them in a few weeks then

This is not a "big update" lol

It is to the half the main thread that was convinced he carried out the attack as a lone wolf with no outside help.
ISIS member in Iraq arrested for involvement in case

NEW ORLEANS — Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council announced that it has arrested a suspected ISIS member for his alleged connection to the New Year's Day attack on Bourbon Street that left 14 dead.

Iraq's National Center for International Judicial Cooperation said in a report that it arrested the suspected terrorist after the United States requested assistance in the investigation of the attack.

According to the report, the suspected terrorist is accused of inciting the attack that also left dozens injured after Shamsud-Din Jabbar plowed a rented pickup truck through a crowd early Jan. 1.

Jabbar, who FBI investigators said was a U.S. Army Signal Sergeant who was radicalized by ISIS, also died in the attack.

The unnamed suspect arrested by Iraqi officials will be prosecuted under the nation's anti-terrorism laws, the report added.

Gov. Jeff Landry said Tuesday that he is still thinking about the victims and their families as more information comes out about the attack, including the arrest.

"There are also victims who are still recovering from that tragic day," he said. "This goes to show you the resiliency of this state and the commitment of our law enforcement partners whether it be at the federal, state or local levels have in making sure we're safe in Louisiana."
I don't believe I've ever thought this was a lone wolf attack. It's had that feeling of foreign involvement from the beginning, minus him being a dumbass.

The super rare explosives used in the bombs was a dead giveaway. He was an idiot, as evidenced by his inability to burn down his AB&B using gasoline, plus him not doing this at midnight, but we're expected to believe he knew how to get his hands on that extremely rare explosive that's never been used in a terror attack in Europe or America before? On top of that, we're also supposed to believe he had the knowledge to be able to put the explosives together? A simple google search indicates it takes an exceptionally high level of experience and learning to be able to work with that explosive. He was an idiot who had help from someone far more experienced in it. That help obviously came from ISIS in Iraq.

So glad they didn't detonate because that would've added a dozen or more to the death toll.

But the media and FBI said he was a lone wolf with absolutely no ties to any muslims. I am shocked.

The new sheriff doesn't give a frick about political correctness or what keeps the woke crowd happy. Facts are facts as of 19 days after this attack.
Now that we have proof a foreign terrorist organization helped plan and carry out the second-deadliest foreign terrorist attack on US soil in American history (second only to 9/11), this should be the biggest story of the year. Every journalist in Washington DC should be hammering the White House for more information, there should be an address to the nation to update Americans, and Americans everywhere should be demanding more answers but instead, we'll continue to scroll tiktok and bitch about invaders being arrested and deported.

We are living in weird times.

Also, remember the super rare explosive that was found in the ice chest bombs and how people just looked the other way, claiming that didn't mean this a-hole had help?
quote:

Truly amazing how quickly this story was buried after the attack.

Well now that we know that a foreign terrorist organization helped plan and carry out an attack on US soil that killed 14 Americans, this should be the biggest story of the year. Americans should be demanding more answers but instead, 99% of us will just sit back and accept the silence.
For all those who insisted that Jabbar a-hole was a lone wolf, suck it!

I bet your house smells like fart and body odor.
I'm almost 40. I can't imagine having a newborn right now. I'm too damn tired to clean the fricking kitchen after dinner and get the kids to bed already. No way could I handle household duties, work, raising two growing kids, AND a newborn right now.
I'm sure China never expected the US to use that list in that way. It was definitely not some kind of set up.

National media: LSU has the best baseball fans in the entire country

LSU baseball fans: if the ball hits the top of the outfield fence, is that a home run?
