We’ve been trying to tell you Baws it doesn’t matter if there was payment made or not. It’s a liquidated damages clause dispute not a “pay me back” dispute

It definitely matters, as to whether the contract is legal or not.

Doesn't mean they're good. A lot of idiots pass the bar exam that have no business practicing law.

Setting aside the liquidated damages issue

“Setting aside the terms of the contract that clearly state in plain English what happens upon breach of contract that two able minded adults signed…”

Please represent them in court.

You can't seem to understand that just because two people signed a contract, doesn't mean it's always enforceable. Both schools are testing just how enforceable these revenue share contracts are, they haven't been tested prior to now.

But then you also swore Lane wouldn't leave.

I'm glad to see that you're back to making a fool of yourself daily.

f the contract was valid I don't blame Ole Miss for trying to enforce it. This NIL/transfer at will mess needs to be brought under control.

This needs to be done on players and also on coaches who breach a contract to go somewhere else. Buyouts should go both ways

There has to be consideration paid for the contract to be enforceable. That's a fundamental principle of contract law. It's my understanding that the players transferred approximately 10 days after signing the rev share agreements. Were they paid money up front when they signed, or within that 10 day window? I don't know the answer to that, but I've seen nothing from the Ole Miss side to indicate that they were. If I sign a financing agreement with Toyota and they don't give me a car I don't owe them shite.

Your argument is that liquidated damages clauses in contracts are not enforceable in a court of law.

You’re an absolute fricking retard.

Give the Ole Miss fans credit, they called him out for this behavior on their board.

Depending on State law, consideration does not have to be money. It can be a promise. There is also the concept of "detrimental reliance". A suit can also be for specific performance

When your own fans call you out for acting like a jilted pussy it might be time to reevaluate how you spend your time on here. You aren't "dunking on" anyone here, and you're stupid to realize it.
