Only LSU fans present fiction as "the truth".

He clearly cares about his family and being with them. He just loves football and the competitive environment. What is so hard to understand?

Wouldn’t want it any other way.

If you want to be great, then beat the GOAT to do it.

I understand. I’m not being critical. I just think at some point I would want to try something else.

Nobody thinks he will just up and retire for no reason.

But what happens as he starts to get older? No coach has ever gone very far into their 70’s and still been an elite level coach. If he loses a step will he want to keep going? Will Alabama fans? Those are very fair questions.

My father said love what you do, have fun with it and you will never work a day in your life.

Coach Saban loves what he does, it is his job and his hobby.

He won’t retire. He’ll kill over on the sideline during a game with a heart attack.

LSU fans still think they are the foremost experts on Nick Saban. It’d be cute if it wasn’t sad.

He is a coward for not trying to win at the highest level in the NFL. No matter what he does, he will never be at the level of a Belichek or even a Pete Carroll.

And for whatever reason they think they are the foremost experts on me. You guys seem to know everything about everyone!

Massive ego and the need for a legacy. Look at the many CEO's in this country with tons of money who cannot let it go.

Someone like Saban makes their own pressure cooker. If he quit today and just started gardening and took up guitar playing, he would be trying to figure out a way to take over ConAgra and play Eruption by the end of the first week.

Sorry folks. Looks like "The Man" ain't leaving anytime soon.
He wasn't coming to Bama either.

But I don't think he's going anywhere til his free passes go away or the NCAA gets a new president and they come knocking.

What would he do if he retired? Sure won't quietly fishing on the lake. Only thing I can thing would be TV commentator.

....because he's the best at what he does. Now, if you still don't understand, you sadly, never will.
