Only Bob Petit and a handful of other players from the St. Louis Hawks era are still around.

0-6 vs ranked SEC opponents. 1-10 vs top 10 ranked opponents.

This. The cheap owners need to be called out more.
Yep. Anything to distract from fricking the American people.

The state of Missouri has the 5th or 6th largest GDP in the SEC. Auburn and Oklahoma are nowhere near on that list.

He reminds me of Charlie Spoonhour in that regard.
Spoonhour’s folksy demeanor worked well with non Billikens fans in St. Louis because he reminded them of Whitey Herzog. Spoonball put SLU back on the sports map.

I read somewhere that outside of last year, every team that the Brewers have lost to in the postseason since 1981 has gone on to play in or win the WS.

I recall the Yankees remaining in the dugout when Arizona won. You’re gonna call them lame too ?
So what was the excuse pre 2013 ?
They weren’t the Angels, they were a playoff team since 2004.

It’s the first time an MLB team has won back to back titles in 25 years. I’d say you getting ahead of yourself. The Yankees have been doing this shite for a 100 years. At least Ohtani is likeable.
And teams like the Cardinals had to use the farm system (created by said Cardinals) to compete against the same two franchises to get their championships.

They have two WS in their history and came close to getting a third.
