Growing old alone is not healthy. Just being around family is good for you, but someone to share the journey with is better as long as you get along. Men especially isolate when they retire.
Don’t know the legalities of this decision but I don’t want Trumps name on everything. The next Democratic president will just remove it and we don’t need to waste money on this stuff.
Just live close to the hospital or the police headquarters and you won’t be down very long. High priority locations.

He’s 13, so if he’s a doctor that would be impressive.

What happens if social security goes belly up?

It’s a federal program. It’s can run a deficit just like every other federal program. I do think it will be reformed with the retirement age increased or the payouts reduced. You can also increase the cap so higher earners pay more.

As for the 401K numbers I wonder how many people still have pensions.

At 67 there aren’t enough pills to make me eligible. You youngsters can have it.
Not true for me. I have one kid on the spectrum so all three will get a nice inheritance. My brother will probably spend most of his but his millennial daughter is already richer than he ever was.

Baby Boomers Embrace 'Die With Zero,' Passing On Less Money To Their Kids

One Forbes article is not research. Magazines articles are clickbait these days.

40% of yall spent it all living a decadent life of limitless consumerism.

So 60% of us didn’t. Don’t lump all Boomers into one category. Only about 20% of us were hippies (probably less). My kids all graduated college debt free and will inherit a significant amount from me. In fact millennials will inherit the greatest wealth transfer in history.
Kathy Ireland, Audrey Hepburn, and Carla Cugino for me. I like brunettes.

40% of boomers have zero savings. 50% have less than $250,000 in retirement.

So which is it? I thought we took everything and were hoarding wealth and running up house prices. Now we are completely broke?
“Every generation, blames the one before”

Mike and the Mechanics

None of this is new. The next generation will blame Millennials for everything wrong in the world.

Loading stone into baskets for $1.25 an hour. Mowing yards and my first full time job was Service Merchandise. We gave you everything but Service.

Every SEC school has better looking women than every Big 10 school with the exception of USC and UCLA. Those two can compete with us.

Why is it in Minnesota on the St. Croix River?

This really isn’t knew. Parents have helped with down payments for decades. Maybe it happens more now but prices are much higher.
