Are these storms coming through the delta right now all it is or will more build up later? Nothing on radar behind it
Should be another round based on high res models. The tornado watches go until 10:00 PM tonight.

SPC added a small moderate risk that includes the DFW area. Looks like it’s a hail driven moderate risk.

You described the song very well. Should trigger everyone’s memory, for sure.

They ruined it when they brought Toyota in, and then the Toyota's were awful so they switched to the "Car of Tomorrow" which was essentially the exact same car with different manufacturer sticker on the front.
Toyota’s first season in Cup was 2007. The first year of the COT was 2007 (it was run on a part time basis). So what you’re saying doesn’t work.

I have a signed copy of his book about 4/27, it's a pretty good read for anyone interested. Another good book about the outbreak is What Stands In A Storm, by Kim Cross.
Both great books. Highly recommend.

During the Tuscaloosa tornado, his sidekick meteorologist - Jason Simpson - had a better read and where the tornado was and where it was heading.
There’s a story behind that. As the tornado was moving into Tuscaloosa, the radar system that ABC 33/40 was using had an error. The pixels for the radar overlayed incorrectly on the map and showed the debris ball on radar to be further south than it was. Spann said he learned that day to always have two separate radar programs to look at.

I would genuinely like to know why these threads bother you. I’ve asked before when you’ve made this same post in previous severe weather threads but you never respond.
There have been damaging storms today, and over the last several days. Not sure why you think it’s just rain.

Another place I always think about is Cordova, AL, which is in Walker County northwest of Birmingham. Cordova got absolutely wrecked by the early morning round of storms. Then that afternoon, an EF-4 comes right through town. Horrific.
