Huntsville was already chosen to head the Space Command based on metrics that Huntsville was better in all the areas. Biden reversed that decision due to Alabama voting for Trump in 2020.

Huntsville is the perfect place for the Space Command.
Huh?

I had heard that he might be fired, did not realize LSU had actually fired him.
Remember this is the man that hoped Bama would not come back out for the second half.

Ah well, as the Bayou churns.
Is it time to come to terms with the fact that Ohio State is going Back to Back

Ohio State is going to lose 2 games at least. One in the BTT game (if they make it) and again in the playoffs.

Alabama wins, as usual, over Tennessee this weekend

Big Daddy Vol......

Didn't he die recently?

I always liked his videos, he was a HUGE Tennessee fan but I will not hold that against him

It is funny that the only time Bama fans think about Tennessee is during this week. Tennessee thinks about Alabama 24/7. It must be the fact that Tennessee has led the series once, for one year.

No Bama fan thinks that he is the next Saban, or Bryant.. We will have to settle for the next Wade or Stallings.

Yes Alabama got embarrassed by FSU. Coach Bryant and Coach Saban got embarrassed a few times as well.

It is nice that all Alabama has to do is be in the top 12 at the end of the year. It was many years ago that you had to be first or second, and then it changed to the top 4. Both are much more difficult to find.

Top 12 for Alabama? Piece of cake.

It’s unfortunate that Bama isn’t the only one paying players and giving away car.

You know….the one thing those 2 coaches perfected.

Do you even realize what you are saying?
At least think it out before posting.

Huh?

I am not sure you know what you are talking about.

While you celebrate Alabama being in its second year with a new coach, you might want to remember the last two times Alabama really struggled. Coaches Bryant and Saban were hired.

There is nothing that differentiates Alabama from any other elite program in modern CFB.

So you explain why Alabama tends to win more NC than anybody else.
Why Alabama has had 5 NC winning coaches with 4 winning multiple titles.
Alabama has had a few bad years, but when that happens it manages to get one of the top coaches.

You are wrong as the evidence is clear, Alabama is indeed a different place. All you are doing is wish dreaming.

Even Saban was struggling in the NIL world. He won 1 National Championship in his last six seasons

Played for one and was a play away from another

NIL leveled the playing field from an illegal under the table payments standpoint. alabama paid more than anyone

Huh? You really believe Alabama was outbidding all other teams? Texas? USC? Michigan? Florida? That excuse is probably the lamest ever

quote:

The transfer portal now prevents players from being stuck on the same roster for 3-5 years allowing insane depth to be built up like you saw during the saban run.

That is true, but it can also built a team quickly

The infrastructure doesn’t exist to replicate a run like that.

True, but that is not expected (although it was not the first time Alabama had a run like that)

The elephant in the room is they are broke in this era. They are 2nd or 3rd tier. Coaches know this

When Alabama was favored by at least 14 points (14+)

Nick Saban 131-2
Kalen Deboer 4-4

It’s over. The dynasty is no more.

It is gone. It seems like only yesterday.

Yeah heard that after Coach Bryant and Coach Stallings, and now Coach Saban..

One thing to remember, the worse Alabama does for a few years, the better the next coach will be.

Alabama is a different place, as Bama tends to win at least a NC every decade and has since 1920's (except the 50's and 80's, which the 50's led to Coach Bryant, the 80's led to Coach Stallings, and the early part of the 2000's led to Coach Saban)
I think that one way to regulate all this is to tax the player since he (or she) is now an employee

I am hearing 10 million dollars, imaging that athlete receiving a tax bill to pay 3 million in taxes. For those that say "well somebody else will pay" those payments should be added on to the total and taxed (10 + 3 so now the athlete needs to pay 3.9 million in taxes)

The one thing I have learned is to NOT bet on my team. You will always believe that your team will win big.

If UGA gets up by 3 scores they will take their foot off the gas and let the 3rd string play by running the ball and eating clock. UGA will not embarrass a team that has 73 new players.
