Spoke with a friend who is a Bama fan...he said this was a rivalry in the 60's and 70's but with Tenn falling off the map it is not a rivalry game anymore. His words, not mine.

Whelp lets look at Dick Saban words:
"For our players, this was a bigger rivalry than any other game that we played. I’m talking about rivalry game. Even bigger than Auburn to our players." - Dick Saban 2024

Well, I guess it's a good thing your friend wasn't on the Bama team. Your buddy must not be from Alabama.

The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party gave you the pageantry of college football, but that game hasn't been close in 15 years.

this is mostly correct, only becuase kirby is doing his best to be our version of spurrier vs florida. But I think this mindset is eeeeeeever so slightly misleading if you only look at the W/L records.

2018: It was a 6 point game with 9 minutes remaining in the game
2019: It was a 6 point game with 10 minutes left int he game
2020: UF led comfortably from halftime through the end'
2024: It was tied with 5 minutes left in the game
2025: UF led by 3 with 5 minutes left in the game

Despite the headslines showing UGA beatings more often than not, the games have actaully been kinda surprisingly close for most of the way in most of them.

The Columbia cup with SCAR. They are good people to hang out with, and weird crap happens in the games. No hate, just fun.

Only correct answer if you are a charter SEC school

Poor national media putz's will ramble about BuckNuts vs MeatChicken. SEC noobs may talk Taters vs Cocks or Sooners vs NutLess Cows. Older folks may say Tide vs Vols or Dawgs vs Bumbles.

It is tLandmass tho, hands down.

Texas v OU should be on the list

Definitely my favorite. The venue, the Texas State Fair, the bitterness of the rivalry. It goes back over 100 years and to things that had little to do with football including the Bridge War. It just seems to be the most culturally colorful of the rivalry games.

Arkansas/Missouri

Simply for the fact that neither fanbase thinks it's a rivalry game.
