re: Nursing homes are so depressing

My mom was in a standard nursing home for about a month and I believe God intervened and got her moved to a special care home that has her own wing that deals with dementia. She drastically improved and is having the best time. She even plays the piano out of the songbook. This is last week when they broke out the water slide.

I wish these kinds of places for everyone.
We’d all learn Cajun cooking in Louisiana
And I’d put that capital back in Alabama
I wanted to hear Metalingus, but after watching that dead crowd do nothing, plus the whole area is non-smoking and no food options, I was ready to go.

I can catch them some other time.
I remember my Uncle flying us into Jack Edwards Airport back in the late 90’s. It was so different back then. A well kept secret. Just a few condos, some local seafood spots, a surf shop and the FloraBama. A lot of arse and titties at the state line.
Ride The Lightning
Siamese Dream
Vulgar Display of Power (2nd album with Phil Anselmo)
Smell the Magic (L7)
Nevermind
Dirt
Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?

If I hadn’t booked two shows in Nashville for October already, I’d might go.
It was Alter Bridge, 7D and Tim Montana to be exact. Tim was actually good. It’s the rock country vibe but he was funny and I liked it. Sevendust rocked it as usual but that crowd was dead. No pits or surfers. I could see the frustration on Lajon and John’s faces people just standing around. I left before Alter Bridge played. Venue was okay. No food options and high drink prices.

Cameron shouldn’t have ran against Beshear. Everyone knew Andy was gonna win. Cameron has his opportunity next year in an open election.

We have two here that never went out of business and are still doing well.
My Mississippi brother in law being hung over before the wedding. He drank a lot of Jim Beam the night before. My sister couldn’t say shite cause her bridesmaids got her hammered to.

My sisters bridesmaid went through a couple of his groomsmen that weekend. Typical Kentucky wedding.

Acid Bath. They never made it to West Kentucky. Wasn’t until they got announced for Louder Than Life last year I heard of them. Realizing they’re a bunch of baws from Houma.
