He does carry much of the blame to leave a team still in the hunt for a title. Some years it is just not a good idea to make a move to another school without it looking bad. But it's a free country and he should do what he wants and let the chips fall where they may.

Threads like this make me think Arkansas and Tennessee fans are first cousins.

I can't complain about a thing Sumrall has done so far! He has really limited the roster turnover damage that usually happens when the head coach is fired.

I was hoping we hired Kiffin, but I have been pleasantly surprised with Sumrall so far.

Why would that upset you? Stricklin wasn't going to get rid of him because he is too nice. We wanted him gone, and he knew it. I am sure he would have rather taken another job, but you don't always get to decide who is offering you millions of dollars, and you have to take the best opportunity you have.
