re: Do you contribute to NIL?

No. I do support the Gamecock club though and have season tickets to football, basketball, and baseball. I'll never support NIL.
Tennessee seems like the only universally disliked SEC fanbase.
Probably offended by the Colonel.

I give the nod to the Iron Bowl. State rivalries will always have more intensity in my opinion (South Carolina-Clemson as a reference point living in SC).
South Carolina has more fans. Charleston is a pretty good barometer since it's mostly Clemson fans in Greenville and mostly South Carolina fans in Columbia. I'd say there's at least a 60-40 split of South Carolina vs Clemson fans in Charleston.

It's a message board you idiot. It's a relevant topic of conversation.

Wonder how LSU fans feel about their guy saying they don't matter?

To be fair I think the majority of the LSU fanbase despises Ryan Clark.

ESPN - Get Up Segment on Nico Situation

Skip ahead to 3:42 in the video and you'll see why College Football fans despise the direction that College Football is heading.

"Bump the fans, the fans don't matter" is a legitimate quote from Ryan Clark.
quote:

No....I'm not. You're just being boneheaded.

It is completely up to you if you want to watch a lower-tiered team or your own. Where you graduated from doesn't require you to remain loyal to that football team.

It really is very simple.

Where you graduated from absolutely is important criteria for who you remain loyal too lmao. What an utterly stupid take.
quote:

Quite literally “your own free will”.

You would rather watch a lower tier school because it’s more pure. But you choose not to

You're completely missing the point, and I don't think it's worth explaining it to you. There's a reason why you're not getting any upvotes to your posts, because they make absolutely no sense. Carry on.

I'm not even sure you're an actual Gamecock fan but post less. Missouri fans are awesome.
quote:

No. I do grasp it. You just aren’t grasping the fact that you, with your own free will, can root for whatever team you want. Hell, you could root for both.

My dad graduated from Southern Miss. The only time he’s ever watched them play was against Ole Miss back in the day. There are PLENTY of CFB fans who root for a school they didn’t graduate from.

Half of Bama’s fan base, for instance.

Your argument makes zero sense. "Your own free will". That has nothing to do with the fact that me, as an alumnus of SC, would rather see kids play for the school on the front of the jersey compared to shopping around their individual services to other schools like some knock off NFL league.

I didn’t graduate from the New Orleans Saints but that doesn’t stop me from watching.

Again you don't grasp the apples to oranges comparison. Now you're comparing the NFL to College Football. They're not the same.
