There have been several that were absolutely legendary. First on the list for me would be McFadden/Jones but I’m interested to hear what y’all think.

People forget about Peyton Hillis being back there at the same time too. Truly a three headed monster.

There's definitely been some good duos between Bama and Georgia over the years.

I mean it's hard to argue against Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown by themselves, but when you throw Brandon Jacobs in the mix, that bunch gives McFadden/Jones/Hillis a run for their money.

I'm biased, but Kevin Faulk, Cecil Collins, and Rondell Mealey were a problem. Too bad they were a problem in the 90's for this argument.

Don't forget Bama-slayer, Tre Smith, in that Auburn backfield.

Like these?

Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson, Alabama (2009-10)

Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley II, and Sony Michel, Georgia (2014)

Fournette, Guice, Darrel Williams, and Nick Brossette was a helluva group for us. Three thousand yard rushers plus Darrel Williams who had a good college and NFL career.

I think the answer though is probably one of Georgia’s, Bama’s or Arky with McFadden.

Nick Marshall and Tre Mason had 2900 yards and 35 TD's in 2013. Marshall added another 2k yards and 14 TDs throwing out of the wildcat

Killer duo but we gotta stay pure with RBs only.

McFadden/Jones (Arkansas)

Henry/Drake/Harris (Alabama)

Williams/Brown (Auburn)

Fournette/Guice (LSU)

That's not comprehensive, just the ones that come to mind immediately.

They also forget about the number four running back Michael Smith, who once the big three left rushed for over 1000 yards two years in a row.
