Yeah, hearing that a lot here. Very easy to see a script flip @ BWS. Game 1 of that series went extras and we win that game in Fayetteville. We weren't going to beat Eyanson in any stadium in that game 2 - he was just that good.
We'll see what happens in Omaha, eh?

Yes sir, hitting and pitching are the Vol's strengths.
Good game today to the real Tennessee fans. We got a lot of hits, but couldn't get many across the plate. All Tennessee needed was one more big swing.
Looking forward to tomorrow's highly competitive game.

It's a bit better if you were born in '62 as I was. That 5-5 '63 season back then was an aberration considering the other 4 years were 9-2, 11-0, 10-1 and 8-2.
Total of 45 more wins vs. 10 more losses would make that 445-304 or 59.4%

I kinda agree. LSU is set to win 2 out of 3 every series as they have two of the best starting pitchers not named Liam Doyle in Eyason and Kade Anderson (no disrespect if I misspelled names). The guy that closed out Little Rock was awesome, but stringing together enough starting pitching to get thru the CWS may be a tall order for them.
I'm not taking shots at a great LSU team, just kinda agree with this comment.

So Auburn and Arkansas are the only two teams hosting ranked opponents.
Like it wasn't hard enough to beat the Vols one series this year, we have to do it twice to make Omaha.
BTW, Doyle was absolutely incredible closing out Wake. I just hope we can hit him like the last time we faced him or this be ugly.

Yeah, I'm still kinda scratching my head as to why LSU threw both ace starters in their first game of the SEC tourney. I thought they might beat Ole Miss with Eyanson pitching. Maybe that first win was just that important.
