I’m still drunk. So take this at face value. But today was a buying opp. Let’s get back to $290. I’m holding my shares until we hit $1200. That’s my exit.
Cost basis went from $79 to $85 today after I bought more shares. Definitely makes days like today easier to stomach.

Paging Paul!!!
Rally beer!

My account is down 12% today. But I’ve dumped all my cash back in. Let’s rebound!

frick it. I’m drunk on the beach. I’m buying one more call.
Need these calls to print!

Give me a $40 rebound this week and first round is on me!
Buying opportunity!

I just bought 5 more shares and an 8/21 call
I have basically no OUST exposure after selling my calls yesterday. My shares are all basically gone with my 8/21cc unless we have a major pullback.

What’s the play? For once, I do have a good bit of dry powder. Wait for a pullback then $60 Jan calls?
I fricked up not buying back my 8/21 $50cc last week. Doubt I’ll get another opportunity to. Wouldn’t mind it though. I’ve got a lot of cash (for me anyways) that’ll settle after today selling 3 calls I picked up last week. Trying to figure out what to do with it now. I don’t want to miss out on the next leg up with OUST.
I assume (and I could be wrong) but when he buys the shares, he’s collecting the highest premiums out there when he sells the covered calls. So maybe it’s more of a risk mitigation vs selling naked calls. So at the end of the whole cycle, yes he’s buying high and selling low. BUT it’s the cost of the premiums and the contracts he’s playing. He's not so worried about marginal “losses” on the buying/selling of shares.
Cheers to 50+% gains on the options today gentlemen!

Now is your chance. Go buy a Jan 27 $50c on OUST. You asked. Go do it.

I really hope you listened to me when I told you to do this. I just sold one for about 50% profit. And I think they were even cheaper when I originally posted to go brag this

Would look good riding in that at $1000/mo for 84mo

You're gonna have to put about 20% down to get that low of a payment baw

Hey baw, quit being such a vagina.

I did this with MRLN in order to open my position in OUST and I sure as hell am glad I did. It had one tiny rebound after I got out that still wouldn't have gotten me back to even. But I've made WAY more money with OUST so far than what I lost on MRLN. And I'd be really kicking myself if I was still holding what I had at the price it's at now.
I finally jumped in. Here comes the red candles.
Those $16k+ Jan28 $410cc premiums would've been nice to buy back after this week

Almost pulled the trigger on 2 of them. Would've been able to pocket $12k

:wah:
At least I may get to buy my 8/21 50cc back super cheap
Wow. I can’t thank you enough for that breakdown. That does help a lot more. I’m going to the beach next week so I plan to sit my arse under the umbrella on the sand and research this a lot more.

I’ve also bought a book on trading options using the wheel method that I’m going to read (probably 2 or 3 times).

Is there a specific app you use to keep track of your stocks? With options sitting out there, I don’t want to have to keep refreshing the fidelity app every 5 minutes. I didn’t know if there may be one where you can set price alerts on certain stocks as well?
