It's a concrete jungle. There is absolutely nothing special about Tech's campus.

How do you list football national titles this century and forget the SEC team that went back-to-back?

Georgia has never won back-to-back SEC Championship games.
Alabama won three in a row from 2014 to 2016. They won back-to-back in 2020 and 2021.
This will be the 5th time Georgia and Alabama have played in the championship game. As we all know, Bama has won them all so far. Alabama's biggest margin of victory over Georgia was the 17 point win in 2021. The tightest game was Bama's 3 point win in 2023, even though that 2012 game felt much closer.
Alabama's biggest margin of victory in the history of the championship game was their 38 point win over Florida in 2016. Georgia's biggest came in their first appearance, a 30-3 victory over Arkansas.

re: How many of UGA’s 7 losses in the last 8 games are due to Kirby’s gameday coaching?

Just don’t think Kirby is a very good gameday coach overall
There have been some hiccups over the years, mostly while playing Bama, but I've been impressed with some of his decisions of late. The drive where he went for it on 4th down twice against Texas, followed by the onside kick, sealed the win. It was ballsy and smart. The fake punt against Texas in last years SEC Championship game was bold. His best decisions seem to come against Texas. Now, he needs to duplicate that against Alabama.

So Georgia shouldn't enforce the stipulations of the contract that Wilson signed?? How else are these professional athletes going to learn that signing a binding contract means something?? If Wilson walks away from another binding contract, this time with Missouri, the athletic department should just roll over and let him do it?

Good. There needs to be some consequences that the kids have to weigh.
Exactly. Unless Georgia tricked or manipulated Wilson into signing the contract, or forced him at gunpoint, I don't see how Georgia is the bad guy here. Wilson is the one who signed a binding contract to stay at Georgia, knowing there were consequences if he left.

Wait. So UGA is suing this kid for the full ammount, but only paid out $30k.
According to ESPN, Wilson signed a contract that included a buyout fee if he left Georgia. From ESPN-- "The deal states that if Wilson withdrew from the Georgia team or entered the transfer portal, he would owe the collective a lump-sum payment equal to the rest of the money he'd have received had he stayed for the length of the contract."
I'm not a lawyer, but it seems pretty straightforward, if ESPN's reporting is accurate, that Wilson owes more than the $30K.
If Wilson wanted to transfer, fine, but it's weird that he would sign a binding contract then only a few weeks later, expect to walk away from it with zero repercussions.

You have a problem with Georgia expecting an athlete to honor a contract he'd just signed?

Amen.

Don’t worry. If he’s successful at Florida in the first year, Kirby will double his salary for 2027.
He'll have to fire Bobo first, and there's a loyalty there that might not let that happen. I would love to have Faulkner and I fully expect him to succeed in Hogtown. I expect your offensive playmakers will stick around because of this hire. I was hoping Baugh might transfer to Georgia, but I'm doubuting it now. That man is a player.
