Just read on another site that some observers were saying in the scrimmage today that Montgomery was looking pretty good and making a strong push for the backup QB position.

They also said that the #2 OLine looked better than you'd expect 2nd stringers to look. That sounds like pretty good news.

Looks pretty solid. I had high hopes for Marcus Harrison. He was a bit underrated coming out of HS IMO. Watching his tape, he was a big athletic dude with some power.

Two that have had me raising an eyebrow is MIchael Uni and Daniel Calhoun. Both highly ranked coming in that have never seemed to get rolling. What's going on with them, reckon?
Uh, ok...the University of Florida is in Florida. And Florida has some good beaches and fishing.

That's about all I could musture up.

You're not disconnected, you're just plan ignorant if you think what I said was wrong.

I'm sure most fanbases here will be pissed if they lose 6 games this year.

But "most fanbases" haven't put all of their hopes, dreams and pretty much the success of the entire future of their program into a coach that they perceive to be the messiah who will storm through the cfb world like Genghis-freakun-Kahn.....like your's has.
I realize this is just a troll thread, but I'll throw out some hard cold truth. If LSU stumbles out of the gate to a mediocre Clem's-sons team, then loses to Ole Missy and the Aggies they'll finish the month of September 1-3.

THEN, lose to Bama, Texas and Tennessee all in November and they'll end the season with 6 losses. I don't think they'll fire him in season one, but the honeymoon will be as gone as William Taylor from this forum.

I also saw a video of an observer who said that Earnest Greene was in the best shape of his UGA career and was looking real good in camp thus far. Knock on wood that he can FINALLY stay healthy.
You're not a football fan if you've never saw 'Best of Times' with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell.

the officials didn't call their offensive line for tackling the entire game

I even had a couple of Buckeye fan friends of mine ADMITTED this to me the next day. They said their OL held UGA's DL all night long and never got called. The game probably wouldn't even have been that close.

They have to be 4 year starters without a redshirt involved, 4 wins and 4 year starter

And they have to have brown hair, never been to Madagascar and have an uncle named Frank. Ok....got it. Hmmmm....

Who are the SEC players that started and defeated their main rival for 4 straight years.

Well, in Kirby Smart's entire coaching career at UGA, we are a combined 33-6 against our 4 biggest rivals, Florida, GT, Auburn and Tennessee. So, I'd say there is a whole bunch of players that fit in this category.

Well, ol Whiskey hasn't shown up to start his usual preseason nonsense, so you might as well grab the torch.

Using all of these TEs?

Posted by Darindawg on 8/15/26 at 10:38 am
Ok I don't have the Phd in Footballology that some of you do, so educate me here. How exactly ARE we going to use this room full of TEs on this team? I don't think I've ever even heard of a situation where a team has 4, maybe 5 potential All-Star tightends on the same team like we have this season. It almost borders on being unbelievable at the stockpile of talent in that room.

So what's the plan reckon?..... 2 TE set? 3 TE set? 3 TEs and line one of them up at fullback? Enlighten me....

(the new running back Peal is "huge")

I've heard some chatter from other observers talking about this kid. It shouldn't be a surprise. About 6 months ago he stated he could bench press 405, squat over 600 and ran a 4.48 in the 40. That sounds like beast numbers to me for a true frosh.

Yeah they are

They're in the top 5 maybe 4.

They did have the best passing O, I'll give them that. Put that passing O with Nebraska's running O from 1995 and UGA's defense from 2022 with Bama's coaching staff from 2020 and you'll have a team that defies imagination.
That team had the best offense, or at least the best passing offense, of any team, but they are not the overall best team of all time.

Hopefully he will educate them on speed limits as well

I educated your wife last night...thank me later.

It’s just weird.

But not quite as weird as a lifeless GT fan from the ACC who has nothing better to do than hang out on an SEC forum and lives to take some kind of opportunity to take a shot at the team that is his team's lord and master...UGA. (yawn) Be gone...
Every game Auburn won with Cam Newton as the starting QB.
