but if he doesn’t at least make it to the semifinals Georgia fans are going to be very agitated and calling for wholesale changes.

Only the ignorant ones will. He's won the last 2 SEC championships....2 natties and 3 SECC this decade. In the current crazy climate of the cfb universe, who would want to part with such a coach?

Georgia is coming off a title run like 2015–2020 Clemson. What they don't realize yet is that they're starting the next one like 2021–2025 Clemson.

Dude....in the first half of this current decade, UGA has won 2 natties and 3 SEC Championships...the last 2 SEC Championships in fact. You honestly think we're declining like Clemson? If you think that, you're too ignorant or young or both to be in this conversation.

Name them please.

Smart, Ryan Day, Dan Lanning and Marcus Freeman were all coordinators and they are all currently at the top of the college football coaching mountain.

I just copy/pasted the list from the link

Just the fact that you took the time to do this on this topic, regardless of how long it took you, is enough reason to assume you are a lifeless goofball with no significant female other and we should probably feel sorry for you....but I don't. Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second time-ah.

It is an unpopular opinion, but I'm with ya. Our enemies like to use this stuff to stone the program, but the truth is, we will all have forgotten about this in a few days or maybe even before sun set tonight and UGA will go on to win another SEC championship...probably, and no one will care.

Not that I don't think its a shame for some kid to get arrested, but here's the truth....I have bills, a mother-in-law dying with Parkinson's disease, high blood pressure I'm trying to keep in check and there's Christians getting slaughtered in NIgeria on a daily basis. Is speeding tickets REALLY what's keeping me up at night? I think not. I will watch UGA football come fall and I hate to sound uncaring, but these arrests will be faaaaaaar in the back of mind.

It's going to take innocents being killed before Kirby, AD department, and the Georgia BOR to do something about this. Some attack lawyers are gonna shred the program with it's past record and failure to gain control of the situation.

I think it will definitely lead to Mad Max like-apocalpyse long before Kirby can do anything to stop it and the gangs will take over the highways! Good grief, dude...
quote:

Wow. You think so. Do you think Kirby should tell them to stop doing this? You should try and contact Kirby and give him this enlightened opinion. I want to give you total credit for this incredible idea.

You know what's funny? This all makes for great UGA-bombardment material for some forum like this, but the truth is, no one really cares in the grand scheme of things. I'm not saying its not a shame kids get arrested, but here's the truth, by the end of this day, we will all have forgotten about this. UGA will go on and probably win the SEC and maybe a natty this season, and no one will be talking or even remember these arrests. Stone me, but you and everyone on here knows I'm right.

You need a life, dude.
(yawn)...We'll win the SEC again this season anyway and no one will even remember this.
THIS weekend? Ask me after September the 5th.

Ole Miss when they get close to winning SOME kind of championship, then...

God in Heaven above...every day I see another thread on here that reminds me we really have crossed into the Ninth Circle of Hell...aka, the football offseason. SMH....
TLDR...Alter.

Not a good start here, bro.

That means something.

And what exactly does it mean? A mediocre QB may end up on a great team and win a superbowl. A great QB might end up on a crappy team and not get to the superbowl but it doesn't mean he's worse than the QB who did. In the big picture....its a gauge for nothing.

This list does not take into account players who are on injured reserve so I'll have an excuse to leave UGA off it.

FIFY
Its like he doesn't even try to change things up so its not so obviously him.

Well well....looks like ol Whiskey is back. Season is over, UT with its usual mediocre 5 loss season, and then like clockwork, here comes a Whiskey alter telling us about all of the misfortune that happened that was completely out of their control that led to their disappointing season and how next season, the Volunteers are going to storm through the cfb world like Genghis-freakin-Kahn and destroy everyone in their path on the way to a natty and their QB winning the Heisman. (sigh)...some things never change.
