I disagree. Outside of 2009 and 2017, the better tram has won more often than not since Mullen took over at Schtate. Maybe 12-13 too, but I’m not sure.

I completely disagree this year. And if we ever get around to build the new renovation, it's going to be phase 1 of spectacular. We certainly don't need to reduce capacity. It's hard and very expensive to get a ticket for the big games already.

They could carry the south end zone club level all the way around the stadium and significantly improve the acoustics.

That's not in the plans. The plans look better than that. And the longterm plan is to eventually duplicate the new west look on the east side.

Is this official? That would be a big time upgrade. Do we have a rough timeline?

Not sure I like the massive gap in the middle of the student section though. The students have been filling up their seats this season for the most part.

Lane asked to not do it and instead to invest in the NIL.

Lose him or keep him..he’s telling us what’s important moving forward. If he leaves but we continue to invest and pay the next coach like Lane, we’ll be fine. He’s getting top ten, top five money? He’s proven we can win and had us in the top ten three years in a row. We can attract a top tier coach.

A truth. Expanding VHS wont do much to elevate our roster and bring us championships. Whereas a better roster will elevate our program to championship level and that will help pay for the expansion.

*theoretically, of course.

And we’re listening, that’s the difference between current admin and what we had in the past. Remember, a big reason we lost Tuberville was because we wouldn’t do a single thing he said we needed to do to win, so he left. This time we’re giving our coach everything he’s asking for and why I’m not super worried about losing him unless a real life changing job comes up. If we do, so be it, but it won’t be our fault this time. It also shows we’re finally dedicated to winning, which makes it a much more attractive job than in the past.

Yeah im honestly not worried about Lane leaving for anything less than a true Blue Chip job. I do think there is some validity to not being able to recruit at the level that UGA, Alabama, TAMU (financially), Texas can and that weighing on him, but I truly think he is the best coach for us given the new CFB NIL/Transfer landscape

I dont think we give enough credit to how much we do actually need Lane... His fit for the current landscape is the perfect fit for us to elevate as a program and we are right on the cusp

I think the only potential opening to worry about for you guys would be Michigan.

But if they offered, I am guessing he takes it.

Why would he? He makes more money than what Michigan is paying Harbaugh, he has his family here in Oxford (one daughter is a freshman at Ole Miss), has a top 10 NIL collective in college football, and has free reign to run the entire program without interference from anyone in the administration nor boosters. With the expansion to the 12 team playoff next season, we'll be in the CFP with one of the top QB's in the country.

The same reason he would take the Alabama job if offered. It’s an elite job and I couldn’t be mad at him for jumping at it. There’s about a half dozen jobs that you don’t turn down under normal circumstances if it’s offered. And at this moment Michigan is one of them I believe.

That being said, he’s not getting an offer from them. They’re too pretentious and think they are above him

There's only a handful of programs that both are a step up AND don't consider Kiffin beneath them. And there are the "lifestyle" jobs like Miami.
