Huh...always kind of wondered what it would be like to be the only program in the state. With Ole Miss and Southern becoming glorified feeder schools for us I guess I will finally get to see.

Not really a surprise. Starkville is known as the best small town in the southeast for a couple of years now.

I thought he was going to get fired around 2012-2013. He got a ton of mileage out of that 2014 CWS appearance.

I would expect them to continue to succeed in football and women's basketball. If you look at their portal recruiting that is where they are succeeding. Beard pooped the bed in the portal after a big raise and they can't afford to fire Bianco without him retiring.
