If Lane leaves, Kliff and the guy at North Texas would be near the top of my list

Saw where people are keying in on the UF jet being in Atlanta during Tech's bye week and that their OC is being targeted
Going from OC at GT to the HC at Florida would be a massive jump.

Kliff Kingsbury
He's definitely on the Kiffin path. Offensive genius. Made a HC before we was ready. Back to OC, proving he's a genius and has matured. Now ready for a HC gig again. I personally think whoever gets him will be happy in the long run

When a coach leaves a program isn’t there a week or two where those players can transfer out? This would be outside the normal transfer window. I would assume a bunch of players would follow Lane wherever he goes.
The new rule is the portal doesn't open until 5 days after a new permanent coach is hired. So any school loosing their coach has time for the new coach to convince the roster to stay and for the NIL collective to offer up more money. Some kids will still leave, but it won't be flood gates like the prior rule/seasons.

Yep the longer we can avoid A&M and Ohio State in the playoffs the better. I feel like everyone else is getable on the right day

I also like how LSU is going to settle for less than what they've already offered BK.

We just need to be ranked ahead of them I think
I thought the tie breakers were more involved than that.

Need UGA to pick up a loss and Bama to pick up 2 losses then I think

Crazy that at 11-1 we still wouldn't make it to ATL. WAOM
In the current set-up a bye week is more valuable.

Gators commit Carsyn Baker is visiting OM this weekend on an OV.

Meh, we handle business and we'll end up the 5 seed.

Too bad Bjork's dumb arse didn't think we needed a compliance team after David Wells retired. We could have been without that whole Matt Luke debacle.
Not even the best compliance team in the world was going to keep Freeze from doing what he did with a University phone. May have delayed it coming out, but stuff like that always comes out eventually.
re: What do you think of the Big Ten’s potential partnership with private equity?

Once divided by all the schools, 3 years funding up front for 10% less for 20 years is a horrible deal
re: I don’t know if any has said this but since LSU has technically fired BK, no job search

And in this thread, its technically his job and he's technically been fired.
How could we possibly know for certainty when it's clear LSU doesn't even know?

Did we technically fire him or is he technically still the coach?
Technically, you old miss fans are retarded.
Isn't the current LSU argument that he hasn't been fired so that they can begin the "for cause" process?

I would find it absolutely hilarious if he shows up on the sidelines Saturday demanding to coach the team since it's still technically his job

For the record though, and I’ve said as much on the UF board, either he’s lying to literally everyone or he’s staying.
Any chance he's told the truth to the family, but they are just all keeping it under wraps until the time is right?

Jedd would surprise me - doesn't seem the fans are big on him

Any info on who Florida pivots too? I think Kliff would be a really interesting option for them.
