The new rule is the portal doesn't open until 5 days after a new permanent coach is hired. So any school loosing their coach has time for the new coach to convince the roster to stay and for the NIL collective to offer up more money. Some kids will still leave, but it won't be flood gates like the prior rule/seasons.

I also like how LSU is going to settle for less than what they've already offered BK.
