The entire stadium is a mess. It's 4 different stadiums stuck together.

I'm not sure what that statistic is basing it on

On3 shows the average distance for every team

LSU is Avg. Distance 1,509 mi

Don't y'all have a kid from Hawaii committed? That's probably screwing the numbers a fair bit.

Just transfered to the Baylor school in Chattanooga, which is a very good private football program. Will sit this year behind current Ole Miss commit Keegan Croucher before taking the reigns over next year.

Going to make the Arch hype look like an under recruited 2*.

Yeah a contractor has been selected but I don't think the full/final details are public yet.

The American dream.
Now this is a high quality melt. Well done

Agreed. Shameful LSU did that with Princewell and Harper

re: Offseason topic: UGA cheats

"Cheating" is pretty broad. Like every other program, UGA has multiple minor NCAA violations every year. Contact with a recruit outside the appropriate time. Too many coaches assisting with a practice. Etc...

All minor violations, but could certainly argue any of those technically constitutes "cheating".

LSU will make you hurt your recruiting by suing players.

LSU will hurt their own recruiting by publicly announcing they are too cheap to support their own players.
Ok so we're back to non-rival industry persons thinking that...

And for the record, I have absolutely no idea on how right or how far wrong they could be. Could be right about some of the schools and wrong about the others. But this one ain't an Ole Miss rumor, and it isn't limited to LSU.

my company agreed to reimburse me for my move and I retained a moving company and then didn't pay them, their lawyers aren't going after my company. They're going after me.

They'd sue both you can your company and essentially say one of them owes me. You and your company would then flight about who actually owes. Happens all the time.

Hey, it’s equally as funny when rival fans think LSU is embezzling state tax dollars instead of actually having the finances

Saying people in the industry outside of Ole Miss / the SEC think that is quite different than rival fans thinking...

Anything related to their recruitment isn't pertinent to the actual issue.

Only if you assume LSU didn't offer to help pay for it during the recruiting process. Otherwise what was said, and when, is 100% relevant.

Sure. I'm guessing that Ole Miss legally signed them to a contract and didn't do anything illegal in that process such as coercion or duress.

Just like I'm guessing that LSU absolutely wants no part of how they were recruited to LSU after signing those contacts with Ole Miss bring on a court record for the NCAA to see

You think it’s more likely LSU is committing fraud and is insolvent than reviewing how legally binding some of these new player contracts are?

Personally I just find it funny how worked up LSU fans get if you do much as hint that their athletic department may be spending more than they have.

Ole Miss doesn't want this to go to court for the same reasons.

Ole Miss likely doesn't have anything to hide in this situation. Certainly other situations, but not this one. What would discovery show from the Ole Miss side, that they signed these kids to a contract? And then they left?

It's not like any lawsuit can just become a discovery fishing expedition for other issues.

But LSU clearly had legal counsel assess how legally binding the NIL contract is.

What makes you draw this conclusion? As if there is no other possible explanation for the money not being paid.
