Coaches want to win titles. LSU and UF do not want coaches happy with 10 wins and no titles for years..both schools want coaches with higher goals.
The smooth brains have their talking points.
Apparently only Florida and LSU want to win titles. They just haven’t figured out how on NIL.

It means he scared of leading the Tigers and Gators.
Or at least that’s what they’ll say.

I drew the ballet, cheer and horse cards. You can all eat a dick on costs of your children’s extracurriculars.

If we’re really trying to be grammar nazi’s.
I agree.
But I do love the hopium in his post.

Y’all are a delusional fan base. You will lose to Florida and state. I think if my memory serves me correctly Ole Piss Has never been to a Sec Championship game. If and when y’all make the playoffs you are one and done. Talk all you want LSU has won national championships in football recently. And your fake 2003 west sec championship, what a joke. There is no co champs buddy!

Thankfully. Glad yall can keep your 12-25 vs top 10 opponent head coach.
He’s 10-10 against the top 25 and 5-7 vs the top 10 at Ole Miss.
2-15 prior to Ole Miss is irrelevant. If anything, it speaks to his improvement as a coach.
Love our LSU fans.

Texas A&M & Indiana, y’all haven’t done jack shvt the past century besides blowout in November. Nobody is going to put y’all over a legit ranked team until proven otherwise. Quit whining, win your games and then we can talk.
Oh Clemson, you play in the ACC and might face one ranked opponent a year.
Your team is now a dumpster and does not play in the NIL era.
This is old man yelling at cloud right here.

Name the active coaches who have been fired from the NFL, fired from a P5 job, bolted from an SEC after one season, and who hasn't gotten his current team to the playoffs.
Nice of you to avoid answering the question.
Sure, you can state it the way you did and avoid the facts.
Fired from the Raiders at 32, the youngest coach in NFL history and had Jamarcus Russel forced on him.
Left Tennessee after one year for his dream job, perfectly reasonable and something anyone would do.
Fired from his dream job after taking over with 30 scholarship reductions and two year bowl ban. Finished top 5 and not eligible to play for pac12 title due to ban.
47-13 over the last four years. Had it been 12 teams, we would have made it one year. We just missed last year and but most importantly and makes your argument fricking retarded, he is taking us this year.

In the unlikely scenario that we did lose. We would not be out if the playoffs.
For our crayon eaters that love to point this out as some knock on Kiffin.
Kindly name all the active college coaches with a national championship win and name the active coaches with an SEC championship win.

Remind me again of all those Ole Miss big wins this year?
We’ve played three teams ranked in the top 10 at the time we played and went 2-1.

But, let’s not act like he’s ran the gauntlet this year.
It’s not our fault LSU, USC, Florida, and Arkansas blow arse. Lost at Georgia after leading most of the game and won at Oklahoma. I’ll take Georgia again on a neutral field.

At this rate, Lane's gonna command a $200 million contract. Every school is somehow going bat shite crazy over him and willing to fire their coaches to be the first to go after him.
And every fanbase is convinced Lane is begging to leave Oxford and it’s definitely their school he’s coming to.

You need OM to miss the playoffs from a timing standpoint
This is why I don’t think it will happen.
You miss early signing. IF we have a bye OR make it to the quarterfinals and assuming we lose he would have one day before the portal opens.

I can admit Florida and LSU are more appealing than our job.
But what I’m having a real hard time understanding is the timing.
Early signing day will be over before the playoffs.
Win a game on 12/19 and second game isn’t played until 12/31/1/1.
Portal opens on 1/2.
For him to take the job he has to do some or all of these things. Either 1. Tank and not make the playoffs. 2. Take the job publicly but finish out the season. 3. Stop recruiting for us and start for the job he’s taking. 4. Keep it a secret, play the season out, take the job and punt 2026.
I don’t see any of those options working for either side.

His team looked poorly coached and unprepared to play UTSA last night. They racked up a bunch of penalties , missing tackles, poor special teams play, never adjusted defensively for someone who’s seen as a defensive guru. That looked like a bad Brian Kelly performance His sideline body language did not give off the energy of someone ready for a big time sec job. The Billy Napier comparisons absolutely will gain more steam after that shitshow.
That’s because he’s the next LSU coach. He’s preparing for that job*
