Who else is pumped for America's iconic 24-hour endurance race?

Qualifying is tomorrow at 3:05 PM CST. The green flag drops at 12:40 PM CST on Saturday.

There are some notable non-IMSA drivers I'll identify in the OP to garner wider interest.

Colton Herta, of Indycar fame and now the reserve driver for Cadillac's F1 team, is driving the #40 Cadillac in the GTP class for Wayne Taylor Racing.

AJ Allmendinger, a three-time NASCAR race winner, is driving the #60 Acura in the GTP class for Meyer Shank Racing.

Three-time Indycar champion and Indy 500 winner Alex Palou is driving the #93 Acura in the GTP class for Meyer Shank Racing.

Logan Sargeant, a former F1 driver, is driving the #18 in the LMP2 class for Era Motorsport.

Christian Rasmussen, an Indycar race winner, is driving the #99 in the LMP2 class for AO Racing (Spike!).

Nolan Siegel, an Indycar driver, is driving the #343 in the LMP2 class for Inter Europol Competition.

Kyle Kirkwood, an Indycar race winner, is driving the #14 Lexus in the GTD Pro class for Vasser Sullivan Racing.

Juri Vips, a former Indycar driver, is driving the #59 McLaren in the GTD Pro class for Rahal Letterman Lanigan.

Will Power, a two-time Indycar champ and winner of the Indy 500, is driving the #75 Mercedes in the GTD Pro class for 75 Express.

Former Indycar and F1 star Romain Grosjean is driving the #16 Ford Mustang for Myers Riley Motorsport in the GTD class.
But he still predicts 12/32, or 37.5% of the first round, for SEC players.
I’m going to get the F1 premium app package for Roku. It’s not what I want to do. But it’s $3.33/race.
I’m ready for Checo and Bottas to retire already to Herta can slot in.

Let's sloooow down a bit here. Tebow threw for 32 TDs and rushed for 23 TDs that year. Those are absolutely Heisman numbers.

Tebow had 4,000+ total yards and 55 total TDs in the absolute peak SEC meat grinder era. Those numbers were pretty much unforeseen in our conference at that point. He was a more than deserving selection in 2007. It is true he was a media darling, though, but his play on the field was more than enough to justify the award.

To put that in perspective, there have only been five players in our conference who've had 4,000+ yards and 50+ TDs in a single season. Their names are legendary. You know exactly who they are. They all won the Heisman Trophy.

2023 - Jayden Daniels
2021 - Bryce Young
2019 - Joe Burrow
2010 - Cam Newton
2007 - Tim Tebow

Don't get me wrong, though. McFadden was an all-timer. He's easily in the upper tier of SEC backs (Walker, Jackson, Henry, McFadden).
NFL open-air stadiums are going the way of the dinosaur.

If anyone wants to please review give me some advice on my current plan for this spring and summer, I would gladly welcome it.

I want low fuss, low maintenance crops which are grown at a time best suited for them given my hardiness zone (9a). These are my overarching goals.

I have two raised beds. I'm going to put Mel's Mix in them (1/3 compost, peat moss, and vermiculite).

Spring
Bed 1 - daily leafy greens, all from seed planted Jan. 31 or Feb. 1, for salads (Astro arugula, Fordhook Swiss chard, Lacinto kale, and purple top turnips). I'll pull them all by late April (some before).
Bed 2 - kimchi is the goal here, again all from seed planted Jan. 31 or Feb. 1 (Southern Giant mustard greens, bok choy, and green onions). I'll pull these by late March or early April and make gat kimchi.

Summer
Bed 1 - Hot sauce is the goal here. I'll be transplanting an abundance of Tabasco plants in April which I will have started in a seed kit the month before. I'll let them go and freeze what I pick until it's time to make hot sauce.
Bed 2 - I'll be planting Beauregard sweet potato slips once the kimchi greens are pulled. I won't plant the slips until April, in any event.

Fall
Bed 1 - Repeat bed 1 spring. Planting by mid- to late- September.
Bed 2 - kimchi is the goal here, but with daikon instead of greens, again all from seed and planted when the sweet potatoes are harvested in late September. I'll harvest the daikons in mid-November.

Winter
Bed 1 - I'm going to let the leafy greens go as long as they can
Bed 2 - kimchi is again the goal here, but this time I plan to plant Blue Vantage cabbage plants I will have seeded in October in the seeding kit and take them all the way through to harvest.

I'm doing a very interesting spring garden. It's two raised beds and all plants are low maintenance and ideal for the time of year I'm planting them.

Bed 1 spring: leafy greens for daily salads
Bed 1 summer: all tabasco plants for homemade hot sauce
Bed 1 fall: return of leafy greens for daily salads

Bed 2 spring: joi choy, bok choy, and green onions for kimchi
Bed 2 summer: sweet potatoes
Bed 2 fall: daikon and green onions for kimchi

I really like kimchi.

Who gon' start the 2026 spring garden thray?
Everyone, and I mean everyone across this great nation, other than retarded LSU fans are basking in the glorious irony of Kiffin's narcissistic departure and Ole Miss's success without him.

It is objectively humiliating for Ole Miss to keep winning without Kiffin at the helm, and for Ole Miss, LSU's fiercest rival, to have to pay Kiffin for Ole Miss victories he is not a part of.

Don't let the pro-LSU sentiments from our resident purple and gold crayon eaters fool you.

"I'm an LSU fan and I'm actually pulling for Ole Miss. Their two CFP wins shows Lane built that poverty program into a juggernaut. Plus I'm enjoying watching our current coaches and players succeed on the biggest stage. Lane will have us in the playoffs year 1 with Trinidad under center. Year 2 is a guaranteed natty."
Lane has no coping skills. I know our win last night chapped his narcissistic arse. frick that guy.
This is nothing new. LSU has 44 seasons of 4+ losses since the conference was created waaaaaaay back in 1933. They lose 4+ games roughly half of the time.

So let me get this straight - SMU, Texas Tech, BYU, Utah, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Texas A&M are championship caliber, but Ole Miss, Southern Cal, Washington, and Oregon aren’t?

Are you fricking retarded?
I don’t see how he comes back from this with us. It’s over.

Aaaaaand most of that was pre integration.

SMDH Schtate fans always injecting race into everything.

Schtate has 17 wins in this series when they were still Mississippi A&M, which predates the formation of the SEC was I guess we shouldn’t count those. Without them, y’all are a pathetic 66-29-6 in the Egg Bowl.
I ain’t as good as I once was.
