They all wanted to see The Slim Reaper dominate.

Yeah, the corndogs are putting a LOT of effort into trying delegitimize a season that "means nothing."

The NFL was much more normal than the college season.
There were 16 NFL games broadcasted on ESPN networks this year.
There were literally thousands of CFB games on ESPN networks this year

Alabama played 6 games on ESPN.
The Saints played 2. LSU played 3.

This should be really concerning for college football fans. That means no one outside the South and Columbus, OH are watching football. Think about it... there isn’t a single city in Texas nor on the West Coast watching football.

What?
Do you not understand how these numbers
work?
It just means a higher percentage of those households are watching CFB in these particular cities. It doesn't mean more eyeballs are watching the game in Birmingham as opposed to Houston or Atlanta.

Huh? Maybe you could inform me about the Nielsen methodology used in the chart Glorius provided. Which of the following was it:
1. Nielsen National TV Measurement
2. Nielsen Fan Insight
3. Nielsen Digital Content Rating
4. Other
According to you, we should see smaller cities where sports are considered popular; i.e. Oklahoma City, Ann Arbor, or Kansas City. However, they’re no where to be found. It looks like basketball was a bigger driver for the ratings than college football based cities.
I’ll wait here for your insights into the statistical methodologies.
