You screwed up. The Aggie business networking is incredible. If you are in Texas and have a Texas A&M degree you are golden. I had 5 good job offers before I even graduated. Could have had more but got tired of interviewing.

Op, in academic circles USNWP is viewed as a National Enquirer quality rag.
Texas A&M is in a partnership to run the USA's nuclear weapons lab as well as operating one of the USA's 4 biosecurity centers. Also in 2nd place for fortune 500 CEO count. And I could continue.
Hardly a shabby place. I have diplomas from both Texas A&M and tu Austin. Texas A&M was significantly tougher to earn a degree from.

Notre Dame was pretty good not great. If the Aggies had gotten just competent Qb play we would have beat them.

Schloss appears to have selected the Jimbo career progression path. Lock in the big contract so whoever fires you looks like a dumbass, then lean back and relax until the contract is paid off for the golden retirement.

He could have written his own check in College Station but no way was he staying.
