just because some voters are idiots doesn't make him wrong. Hell, there are voters who might honestly believe 'sips are a top 10 team!

three things

1) You are not understanding my point. The dude literally never predicts anything right.. He could have predicted #3 this week and A&M would have been #2. It’s comical.

2) Ohio State & Indiana are both Top 2 in Sagarin, FEI and PPD. Those are all weighted for the opponent and without bias. A&M is 4th, 9th and 8th in those polls. I understand A&M’s SOR argument, but it’d be crazy to ignore all of those other polls.

3) So where should Texas be ranked? Who are the two teams above them in your rankings?
it’s too bad I can’t bump your #2 seed prediction.. where you yet again, made the wrong prediction.

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and again.. but not you.. you’re batting way below the blindoza line..
Thank you to all of our Veterans!

It would be cool if admin could add an icon to their usernames indicating that they served.. Idk if it would work though.

If you want to put A&M #1 because you think they are the best, do it. But they simply don't have the highest metrics as of today

this is where I am.. it doesn’t really matter though

I’m guessing Oregon would have preferred the 2 or 3 last year to avoid Ohio State.

1 is likely staring at..

1 vs Oregon/Ole Miss/Texas Tech?

then

vs Georgia or Alabama

then

vs the winner of the other bracket

Be careful what you wish for..

I dont know any rational poster who examines both teams body of work to date will sit there and think Texas has a snowballs chance in Sanford.

We have more than a snowballs chance.. but we’d probably have to play our A/B game for all 4 quarters to pull it off.

We haven’t done that yet, but we came pretty close against Vanderbilt.. and then the 4th quarter happened.

Our best shot imo is trailing most of the game, and then scoring late to take the lead. We haven’t played good with a lead, mostly because we can’t run the ball.

We do have one advantage that we don’t normally have.. and that’s being a 6.5 pt dog. That isn’t normal, so I think we’ll come in with something to prove.. historically, we usually show up in those games.. but that doesn’t mean a W.

If Georgia can run the ball, it’ll be a long game for us.

the schedule

f all of you for making me pimp Ohio State.. y’all are either blind or delusional..

They are the team to beat imo.

If they had played and beat Oregon, people would just say Oregon isn’t as good this year.. as they said when Indiana beat them..

Peaking at the right time will be important going forward.. much like OSU last year.. so maybe that is their downfall this year.

Georgia might fit that description this year.. if they can avoid Bama.

Texas could as well, but I just don’t see it. If they win in Athens, I’ll change my mind.

Bama might fit if they lose to OU and bounce back.

A&M maybe if they lose to SC or Texas. Not losing until the playoffs might be their downfall.

Oregon would have to show something I haven’t seen yet.

It’s an opinion, an eye test.

Sayin is having a heisman type year,

Smith is easily the #1 WR in cfb

Their defense is ridiculous and doing things that haven’t been done in 20-30 years..

Where is their weakness? They might be better than last year imo. They weren’t when we played them, but Sayin still had training wheels on.,

Have you seen his stats?

80% completions
24 & 4
192 passer rating

He’s really good.

zero chance

It isn’t zero, but it’ll be tough. The games at Pitt and they do have a decent team.

I’d give them a 30-35% chance.

Ohio State at 4 is stupid. They are #1 imo, but 4? Come on.

GT? You should check out their computer ratings.. they don’t like them at all. You didn’t include a G5 team so an ACC team isn’t required.

Replace GT with ND and those are probably the 12 teams.

Ohio State at 4?

#1 Sagarin
#1 FEI
#1 PPD

They have beat 6 pf their 7 P4 opponents by 16+ points..

It completely invalidates your rankings imo.. and I usually think they are pretty good. Not your best work.

Eleven Power 5 teams are seven more than we used to see in the CFP and truth be told no one seriously thought a 5th team was better than those top 4.

and in Year 1.. the 8th seed took home the trophy, winning each game by double digts..

Your lack of education is obvious. They were ALL ranked when we played them.

And 4 of Alabama’s were ranked at the time they played them.. which makes your stat wrong.

Perhaps you should do some research before you post someone else's stat next time.

Mirror. You should go look.

Texas A&M is the ONLY team in the country to have defeated 3 ranked teams this year.

Alabama beat LSU
(one of the teams you claim as ranked)

Alabama beat Mizzou
(one of the teams you claim as ranked)

Alabama also beat Georgia, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, who are all currently ranked.

This is fuzzy math.

Sayin should get invited to NY. I think Pavia should win though.

losers of 6 in a row

5 of those games were by a combined 10 points at the end of regulation

0 - Oregon - Lost by 6 in 2 OT
5 - UCLA
1 - Northwestern
1 - Iowa
3 - Indiana

10 / 5 = 2 ppg
16 / 5 = 3.2 ppg (incl Oregon)

the 6th was OSU by 24 pts

Two things
1) OSU is different and sb #1.
2) PSU is better than their record

eta: A&M beat an 0-6 Arkansas team by 3 points.. put one of them at #2, the other at #3.. no not really a difference as they’ll be paired in the semi’s at a neutral site
