Missed that one about Bolt… but….

Assuming he maintained his average speed for the additional 8.56m you could multiply his 100-yard time by the distance ratio: and essentially he would run a 10.2 100m dash.

Either way, his 40 time at 4.1 is amazing.

So, basically 9 more yards, which means, he would still be the fastest in the NFL today.
They’re the only one I think ever.

First, I did not know he was from Philadelphia, MS. Amazing how many players have come from the sip. Rice, Walter Peyton.. Favre.

Secondly, I was reading an article about his pardon, and his football career, and it mentioned him running a 9.4 100m dash. I mean, huh? Bolt held the world record at one time at 9.14. I know it’s a half a second, but holy smokes that white boy was fast. Tyreek Hills is 10.1 and Metkalf is 10.6. It stated his 40 yard dash was a 4.1.

I wonder if he’ll ever get elected into the NFL HOF? His stats in the NFL were impressive.

3× AFL champion (1960, 1961, 1967)
2× AFL Championship MVP (1960, 1961)
2× First-team All-AFL (1961, 1967)
2× Second-team All-AFL (1960, 1968)
2× AFL All-Star (1961, 1969)
AFL rushing yards leader (1961)

Last Chance U proved, these D1 stars that drop out or get in trouble, who reshape their lives are great additions to teams. Can Newton was one of those. I think East MS has produced more NFL talent than most D 1 schools. Great pic up for us

Trying to understand why almost 90% of people on a bama board downvoted this? MS GC is a powerhouse and between them and Scooba (East MS) they produce studs I would love to have. Saban used to live on their campuses.
Dude, Chabliss should not be playing, but you hired their coach. You have no room to talk about someone trying to save their program. Literally zero.
JD didn’t sniff a NC like the other 3. Typical LSU
No way!! No Mo Williams? No Latrell Spreewell?

Not even Kennedy Winston who for two seasons as an All American led the SEC conference in scoring. He was also a 2-time All-SEC first team player in both 2004 and 2005. He led his team to the NCAA tournament in both 2004 and 2005, advancing as far as the Elite Eight in one of the years the furthest any Alabama team had gone in the tournament at the time.
Chickens been removing any negative comments about the bunny rabbit. Not sure why.
Floridas tough man. Funny how LSU loves ragging on teams that beat them mercifully.
Redfish is amazing when cooked right and smothered with an Étouffée But, red snapper is a very close second.

Fried catfish is > drum buckets
I’m on the patio cooking steaks by the pool, overlooking the beach in sunny south Florida watching bama play basketball. I’m rooting for us to play a good game and win. Hope is his a dangerous thing tho with this team.

Love our efficient basketball, great defense, and three point try’s from Montgomery.

Can’t wait to hear today’s reason You have for us, for being down by double digits

No, we will just have to agree to disagree with our difference of opinions.

Yours is; bad coaching, bad technique, and bad implementation of the position requirements in order to succeed. You believe we have a great strength and conditioning program with doctors of exercise science monitoring our supermen of offensive linemen. You believe that technique was the reason we gave up 32 sacks and got our QB crushed and practically forced him into back spasms.

I on the other hand think we have a very weak and small o linemen compared to previous successful teams and also compared to teams we played, as well as defensive linemen, and also believe the strength and conditioning programs was lacking this year. I feel and believe we need more of these guys:

Bradley Bozeman
Deonte Brown
Jonah Williams
Jedrick Wills
Alex Leatherwood
Ryan Kelly
Cam Robinson
Lester Cotton
Evan Neal
JC Hassenaeur
Landon Dickerson
Tyler Steen
Cyrus Kouandjio
William Vlachos
Mike Johnson
JC Latham

Just to name a few

You’re just guessing at this point, with hypotheticals. Strength and conditioning goes a very long way. Grit can only get you so far.

Against Most teams, we don’t look as big or strong. Running the football and defense wins championships. That’s meat on both sides of the ball.

By your metrics, 5 Parker’s on the o-line would make you happy? GTFOH.

Agree. One hundo. There wasn’t a bama fan on this planet at 4th and 1 inside our 30 against Indiana, who actually thought or truly believed we would get it. We got manhandled all year against good competition.

We aren’t Bama anymore. But at least we’re not Auburn
