The next two picks in the 2nd round of the draft could be Ladd McConkey and Adonai Mitchell. Your team had both.. when healthy who is a better WR?

Ladd because he is shiftier and gets more touches. Does well on short, mid and deep routes. Very few flaws
Mitchell is great on the outside and deep but less touches

If AD had played the whole season his second year, I may have a different answer.
But I'd say Ladd is the better route runner and has the better advanced analytics.
The thing is they are different types of WRs. Adonai is more of a true X and Ladd is a slot or Y. Ladd won't be good in the X role and Adonai wouldn't be nearly as good in the slot as Ladd. So it will depend on team need IMO in this draft.

Depends on what you are asking them to do and the type of offense. AD would be better in vertical passing game and Ladd is better as a traditional slot guy and attacking the middle of field.

You can't go wrong with either one. I wish the Falcons could somehow grab one of them but...it's the Falcons so we'll probably use our second round pick to get someone projected to go in the 4th round.

Just watch both play consistently...the answer is obvious. One is a safe thing pick while the other is a bust waiting to happen.

Mitchell is probably more NFL ready ….Ladd was hurt a bunch.

You want to believe McConkey will be a bust because Tennessee passed on him. He's a workhorse and he'll have a long NFL career. It's Tennessee's ability to judge talent that's a bust.

Ladd offers a ton more in terms of playcalling. Y and slot opportunities. Screens and reverses. Double move deep is one of the filthiest you see. YAC is strong.
AD is playing X.
In the NFL, your X better be superfreaks. I don't know if AD translates to superfreak.
Ladd isn't an X receiver either.
But look at every NFL roster's X receiver and tell me which ones are worse athletes than AD Mitchell.
