Ole Miss is leading LSU at the half.

Maybe LSU will try to hire Chris Beard.

Its probably been said somewhere in this thread already but imagine..

Kiffin, Wade, and Johnson as our big 3 head coaches. We would be hated so much by everyone

The SECRant would crash.

But we LOST a mid-week game to McNeese!

I get that these happen every year but it never gets any less irritating for me. McNeese had no business being on the same field with LSU.

His All conference level PG has been lost for the season who makes everyone around him better.

His most skilled and experienced inside player has been lost for the season the second year in a row.

Let's assume for argument's sake it's that simple. What about the three preceding seasons?
This isn't meant as a flame thread, but rather, an attempt to educate myself. I played high school basketball many moons ago. We ran a basic motion offense. Obviously, the game has evolved significantly since then. I do not pretend to be an expert on offensive sets and what they are trying to do (I basically know what's going on on the defensive end). For those who actually understand what they are trying to run, what is the problem?

1. Is it an overall lack of talent relative to the other teams in the conference?

2. Is it poor evaluation in terms of the types of players he needs to run his system?

3. Is his system too basic and easy to defend?

4. Something else? Some combination of the above?

Hrmmmmm

Someone could just bring up irrevelant stats all the time.

We already have dalton to do that for us.

An injury to Cade is brutal. Hopefully its nothing major and hes back quickly.

It’s why they obsess over Kiffin being the savior. Why they make baseball and women’s basketball threads seeking approval. The truth is, none of this happens if they aren’t 2-13 against Alabama since 1/9/12.

I hate to break it to you bud, but LSU fans aren't excited about Kiffin because of Alabama. They're excited about Kiffin because of the hope that he will restore LSU to championship status. Maybe he will. Maybe he won't, but fans are naturally going to be optimistic. I'm sure your rival Auburn is excited about their new coach too, but he barely gets mentioned on here. Weird.

And LSU fans damn sure aren't proud of their baseball program because of Alabama. Alabama's baseball program is irrelevant. We're proud of our program because it is currently the best in the country.

But that's y'all's problem. You want to make everythiing about you/Bama. Newsflash. It's not. You and daltoh are the poster children of Alabama fans obsessed with LSU on here.
Alabama fans are extremely self conscious. If you’re not talking about them they will keep stoking the fire until someone does. They yearn for approval.

these stats are meaningless until conference play. None of us really know what we have until then. It's just fun to discuss.

This is correct, and it’s a lesson some people never learn. Coaches are tinkering with lineups and pitching staffs right now.
We’re all Americans here, except for Serraneaux.

You’re pulling a Serraneaux. Don’t be like Serraneaux.

You say that like it’s a small number. I’ve started half that many threads on the SEC Rant in 4 years. You doubled that in 20 days.

Why do you think it is that you never have any thoughts or ideas to start a thread?

He's above your pay grade. You don't want to go there. Stay down in the muck where you belong.
