Ugggghhhh
You had to remind us about
“Remember The Maine”
That game was actually worse than the 3-2 debacle.
Both are worthy of the “Hall of Football Shame.”

In equally relevant news, some hockey teams have won games with less players than the other side.
Also really cool.

Somehow that Team beat Ron Zook's Gators that year

I was at that game. Probably loudest game I’ve been in

The 1980 Bama-State game should get more play. Ended Bama's 28 win steak. First State win against Bama in 23 years. Ended any chance of a three-peat, and what would have been an epic battle against Hershel Walker in an all-SEC Sugar Bowl.

Mizzou did it twice in one year (2015):
Mizzou 9
UConn 6
Georgia 9
Mizzou 6

Texas 9
1984 Sugar Bowl
Aub 9
Mich 6
1988
Bama 8
PSU 3
1987
Auburn 10
Bama 0
1967 Iron Bowl

1990--my favorite
Bama -9
NUMBER 3 UT Vols- 6
Gene Stallings had started his Bama career 0-3 this season and only had wins over Vandy and ULL. Lee Corso said this would be like a high school team facing a college team.

The Tennessee one that comes to mind other than the 2005 Alabama game was 2003 at Miami.
We won 10-6 and snapped their home winning streak. They outgained us 2-1 but we got some turnovers and key stops. This marked the end of the Miami dynasty.

When a team is kicking an onside kick with a chance to win thats not just a "respectable" game. LSU dominated the first half but their problem was they thought it was over and damn near cost them as Bama controlled the 2nd half. Hell, Orgeron showed what kind of coach he was in blowing a 33-13 halftime lead.
And the GOAT team didn't play until the next season.
And Bama did indeed, without a doubt, no question, no letup, no disputing.. push LSU's shite in...55-17
No onside kick recovery needed.

2004 was a weird year for State. It was Coach Croom’s first year. And though the record did not reflect it he did a great job of building a foundation for the State football team over the five years he was here.
But I digress, the Florida game that year was the Jerious Norwood show. He was a beast at RB and he single handily won that game. Plus throw in the fact that Florida thought they could walk in and win an easy game.
2004 was an enigma of a season.
Lost to Maine, Vandy, UAB….
But beat Florida and Kentucky and lost a 3 point game to Arkansas.
3-8 that year.

In Stallings driest year we went into Tennessee game 2-3 while they were undefeated and ranked 3rd nationally. It was 6-6 wth seconds to go. We blocked a Tennessee (potentially) game winning field goal, the blocked ball rolled to about our 30, and Phillip Doyle kicked it through with no time left for a 9-6 win. Up until that game I thought we had made a mistake hiring Stallings.

I sat through A&M beating Rice 7-0 way back in 1994.
We scored on our second possession and that was it for the rest of the game.
We were ranked #6 in the country that time . . .truly awful on every level.

I was at the 1976 UT/UK game. UK won 7-0. It was the death knell for Bill Battle.
How you can have Stanley Morgan, Larry Sievers and Jimmy Gaylor and not score a point is beyond me.

Corso said on GameDay the game wouldn't be close, and compared Alabama to a high school team.
