I'm shocked that Mizzou is as high as #43. I would just assume we were in the 100s somewhere
Eli is just a big nerd - fits us just fine, honestly
The Harvard bit actually made me laugh out loud. Great one this week

Jesus Christ, man. Who gets this worked up over Mizzou? I was born into this and not even I get this upset about the Tigers, and here you are choosing this life for yourself.

:wtf:
Mizzou: 6-6 (2-6)

Central Arky: W
kU: W
Louisiana: W
USCe: L
UMass: W
Bama: L
@ Auburn: L
@ Vandy: L
TAMU: L
Miss St: W
@Oklahoma: L
@ Arky: W

Crap Bowl vs. a nobody: W
I always appreciated that at Toledo's stadium they have an actual rocket and it's pointed directly at Bowling Green. That's the kind of college rivalry-driven hate that I can get behind.

That would be perfect for Mizzou but as far as SEC priorities go I think we rank probably 16th - after every other team and Bama twice - so I won't get my hopes up.
I think I predicted like 6-6 or 7-5 last season so I obviously know jack shite about football lol

Mizzou

Aug. 30: vs Central Arkansas - W
Sept. 6: vs Kansas - W
Sept. 13: vs Louisiana - W
Sept. 20: vs South Carolina - W
Sept. 27: vs UMass - W
Oct. 11: vs Alabama - L
Oct. 18: at Auburn - L
Oct. 25: at Vanderbilt - L
Nov. 8: vs Texas A&M - W
Nov. 15: vs Mississippi State - W
Nov. 22: at Oklahoma - L
Nov. 29: at Arkansas - W

You could swap USCe for Vandy if that makes more sense to you, but either way it would be 8-4 (4-4)
It was much much more a Big 8 basketball thing than a football thing because, yeah, they frequently whipped Mizzou's arse in football.

But don't believe any OU fans that say they didn't care about it. They are either too young to remember or are lying. There was actual hate involved in those bball games. The old Stormin Norman/Billy Tubbs showdowns were epic.
Mizzou 8-4 (4-4 in conference)

We got worse in 2 of 3 phases of the game and hopefully stayed even on offense. Even with our cakewalk schedule that doesn't bode well for playoff hopes.

Any team that hasn't made it to Atlanta is first on the block, IMO

Eli is such a colossal dork but since he completely owns it it kinda works for him, I think. Certainly an out-there dude but he's been getting recruiting results (at least compared to Mizzou's history) so what do I know
That certainly was not my experience when we visited in 2013, but go off I suppose. Ole Miss fans rank just above Arizona State as the worst fans I have experienced at a road game.
We had the Illinois game annually but the Illini ran away because they were tired of losing that game.

Turns out though that missing the exposure in St Louis hurt them more than they thought, so thankfully the game has been rescheduled 8 times in the next 10 years (now it's a home and home). If kU doesn't want to schedule a permanent rivalry week game going forward I would be ok with the Illinois game filling that spot because beating Arky has gotten kinda boring :snoozer: Illinois would probably be a better game.
7) Georgia
8) Mizzou
(No Oregon)

But otherwise sure
Yeah, but Ole Miss sucks as a team, a school, an athletic association, and a fan base though, so…???????
They've been hit or miss lately but this one was definitely a hit. The "Why is Dad Yelling at the TV" book had me rolling :rotflmao:
Mauk 100% did that intentionally. Dude was a world-class a-hole
