Yep. And Silverhill, I believe its population has increased over 70% since 2020. A lot of new housing & development. We used to cut through there on the way to my in-laws who live in Magnolia Springs, but now we avoid it like the plague. :lol:

IIRC, he lost his initial gubernatorial bid to John Patterson because he was a moderate regarding segregation, and Patterson was a staunch segregationist. That's when Wallace supposedly made his infamous vow regarding future elections. GW would say or do almost anything to get elected. :lol:
