I’m glad it’s at 11 AM for starters but we’ve all seen this story before.

Team gets massive win over a big rival, the following week they don’t show up and get smashed.

Wouldn’t shock me one bit but also we suck on the road so it wouldn’t shock me if leavitt hands them the game once again.

LSU would and will smash this state team with or without Kamario.

He’s good but they don’t have the team around him to hang with the big teams. Mizzou doesn’t qualify. Maybe if this were at Starkville I’d give them a shot.

Chimes opens at 10 on gameday. Get there early as possible.

We never were a Bama or Ohio State level program.

Historically LSU has always been in that second tier right there with Auburn and Penn State. We just have it in our minds that we are in that top tier because we randomly rattle off a championship out of the blue and have a lot of players go to the nfl.

I hope Kiffin puts it all together like Kirby did at UGA and turns it into Saban’s bama 2.0 but that’s just next to impossible. He can talk the talk and act like he’s Saban/Carroll Jr but ultimately on field results are all that counts.

State comes to town ranked 16 at 11 am. It’ll be a boring game no matter what. Empty stadium. Boring atmosphere. I’d expect State to travel very well to this one as tickets will be readily available for sure. It’ll feel like a dang kids Saturday morning soccer game environment out there.

Auburn sucks. Road game at Jordan hare vs a very bad team. The game will be boring or another disappointing loss. Their fans will get up for it but I believe it’s also at 11 AM or noon so it won’t have the juice like a night game. Plus their team is awful.

Nothing they do between now and November 7th will be enough or exciting. I know our fans and myself included. We will still watch but the buzz we once had will be deflated until that Alabama game.


Somehow defeat Bama and we’re back on track with a very getable longhorn team coming to town next. However if Bama smashes LSU, then you bet your arse that next game vs Texas will be a total burnt orange takeover of tiger stadium. I can already see it now. It’s coming.

If I were a State fan I’d be making the trip for this one. Tickets will be readily available for sure.

It’ll be empty seats all over especially the lower sidelines.
