SEC champion determined by win %
Posted by turnpiketiger on 1/21/26 at 9:46 am
The same way the nfl decides division championships. Do away with the money grab game in Atlanta and crown champions in the season finale.
This year would have been Georgia. No waste of time. Free up that week and start the CFP sooner.
Get all leagues to agree (highly unlikely I know). Then the CFP can say “top 3 teams in each league by win % are in. The top team overall in each league gets home field advantage” something along those lines. If not home field advantage, they get seeded and matched up vs the lowest win % team in the lowest win % conference.
There’s zero opinions and politics. It’s all numbers and decided on the field. The only kicker is that the conferences all need to agree that everyone gets equal rights. So the ACC gets 3 just like the SEC and so on.
For example Duke would have been paired with Indiana in this scenario

Melting over green space is weird. I actually melt over clear cutting forest to build Dr Horton shite box homes or paving over pastures to build shitty strip malls littered with vape stores and credit unions.
Sure wish there was some random endangered species in said forest that forces it to be protected

The only pro sport without a salary cap is MLB. It’s a dying sport popularity wise
That tells me CFB will have to adapt a salary cap of some sort.

It’s really not nearly as bad as people think. If you mind your business and don’t make enemies you’ll be just fine like anywhere else.

Remarkable? Let’s see him actually coach games first. I’m excited and on paper it feels good. But let’s be honest here. We need to see it come September and on.
No more dropping games to inferior programs.

re: BK firing thought

I don’t think BK is a bad coach or even a bad person like many tend to lean on.
LSU is a a very complicated job and it’s not for everyone. If BK has the same exact record that he had at LSU but at Arkansas or Ms State, they’re extending him or he’s getting poached.
Begs the question though, does he win as much without LSU’s resources? Same with ND

re: When it comes to cheating, who is more to blame: the married or the mistress?

I think many times the mistress doesn’t even know the person is married. If they’re lying to their spouse then they’re lying to the mistress also

There is no expert in using AI. A 5 year old can use it the same way a 55 year old uses it. That’s the problem. No self thinking. It’s autopilot. Humanity is regressing and AI is a driving force. People like you are brainwashed and are part of the problem

Flat like this pic? Absolutely not. Richardson 112 trucker style with the mesh back? Absolutely all day.

The amount of people that just roll with it and accept it is insane too.

It’s got its place as a convenient resource at times sure but I’m just sick of it being shoved down our throats at every turn.
It’s over used and entirely unnecessary at many times. Not to mention it’s sparked an entire industry just to “make people’s lives easier”. In reality it’s just making people lazier and more dependent on technology rather than doing anything themselves. Let alone thinking for themselves. Also fact check it because I’ve seen on several instances it being entirely incorrect.
Not to sound like an old fart but man it’s bad and I’m not supporting it.

There’s a reason Saban and Carroll told him to bolt Ole Miss DURING A NC RUN and take the LSU job. If he is as good as he thinks he is, this place will go on championship runs with Heisman players.
All of the hate and public shaming he’s received is motivation more than ever to win it now too.
It’s a wave that Lane might have to ride.
