It’s the only sport their fans actually show up for. Their FB and men’s bball games are laughable
quote:

Nuss being injured helped get BK fired and he should have been for his handling of the situation.

So you’re saying BK forced Nuss to play knowing he was injured? I don’t think so. Knowing Nuss, he made that call and wanted to fight through it.

BK wasn’t perfect but I’m sure Nuss is who made that call.
Knowing BK, he would have found a way to save face and get the record to look better than it actually was.

Just look at his track record. We all know how his tenure went. He’d always do just enough to say “well he’s winning 9 to 10 games per season” but when you break it down they aren’t really winning vs quality teams.

Honestly they were 5-3 when he was fired. Went on to lose to bama and OU and the bowl. Would it really be far fetched to say Kelly could have won 2 of those 3 games? Finishing at 9-4 once again. Kelly would have found a way to beat that awful Oklahoma team. Hell they almost did it with Frank. Who knows what bowl game they draw at that point. Kelly always won his bowl
Games.

That continues the narrative that Kelly isn’t the problem. Honestly canning him in October and letting the season just play out with Frank was the best decision. Can’t help but think they knew Lane was coming or else they wouldn’t have done it when they did.

Glad we got our guy but honestly he’s one of the few that it’s justified in doing this all for. I wouldn’t have fired Kelly just for any guy. It had to be Lane.

Oh boy. You have let them get to you bud. Do you live in Lafayette?

Man I love that town but the ragin Cajun delusional die hards are easily the top thing to dislike about it.
It’s nice

For a sun belt team. All relative. It’s better than Oklahoma’s believe it or not

They are from and represent Lafayette. What’d you expect?

Does the team actually have majority guys from Lafayette?

Jay needs fired. He doesn’t know ball
Didn’t the 25 team get run ruled by Nichols at home?

Everyone in Lafayette and surrounding areas fly that flag. You will rarely see a state of Louisiana flag

Heads up for all you commuters, I10 is currently fully blocked off in both directions at Whiskey Bay! Hope this doesn’t affect either the team or a bunch of fans making it to Lafayette in time for the game.

Typical I-10 basin bridge
That’s what I’m saying. They can’t even sniff a 68 team field once in how many seasons?
So you deserved it by my standards
If I’m from DeRidder I’m no longer claiming it. Just say you’re from east Texas. It’s basically the same thing.

Her ex-husband is from a well-known and very respected family in DeRidder. He took over his dad's Allstate office that has been there for decades

Typical Louisiana garbage right there.

Big fish in mighty ole DeRidder. Whoop de doo!
They’ve had two top 20 portal classes in the past 3 seasons.

They aren’t having a massive talent issue. It’s coaching 100%

No reason they shouldn’t be at least competing for the conference or a tournament bid
These aren’t the only places with warm weather in the early spring.

The Rio Grande Valley region in Texas could be a great fit for this. It would boost the local economy, they definitely have the ideal weather for it and it’s much more centralized than Arizona or South Florida.

For this discussion the cities included would be McAllen, Edinburg or Boca Chica Beach or South Padre.

With all that Elon $ down there, it seems like it could be done. There’s also a lot of “winter Texans” that would be a solid support base.

Tell me why not
BR people have some complex towards Lafayette. They clearly have a bias and think LC is better.

Nola people don’t like BR. They have a bias and think Lafayette is better.

It’s like br sticks with LC and Nola sticks with Lafayette.

It’s an odd situation but it’s Louisiana so it checks out

Laffy has worse slums than Lake Chuck for over 30 years.

Dude you’re way out of touch.

LC is so awful these days. It’s Shreveport level bad.
People don’t go the speed limit or a respectable speed anywhere.

It’s even worse in Texas
