Carpetbaggers are Yankees. Somalis are something even worse.
Fortunately, Shirley just got the ball rolling. Real investigators are at it now. Shirley is just a straw man to the left.

Good point. It also sucks to have SEC vs SEC yet again this early in the playoffs, AND another SEC rematch (Bama-Oklahoma). I know it's from seeding, but come on man.
I generally watch close Bama games with the sound off. It makes me less nervous somehow, and I find I can see what's going on better without the distraction of the announcers.

He has a team full of 5th year seniors and juniors with tons of snaps under their belts. It's going to be experience vs talent. Can a no star DL with 5 years of experience beat a 5 star freshman OT? That's the question you'll see at multiple positions tomorrow.
When you fire someone in your office to whom you owe 2 weeks notice, you walk them to the door and pay them for the 2 weeks. You don't keep them around the office to cause trouble.
Because we're Alabama. We're always confident, win or lose. Why should we be afraid of anyone? Maybe that's LSU's problem - going into games afraid they're going to lose.
I don't understand why money to players doesn't come with a contract spelling out each side's obligations, including being available to play in every game, including any post season play. Otherwise, give back the money.
Lane at LSU is going to be fun. I like him, but he is what he is, and it comes through eventually.

Congrats on the win and the SECC for sure. But that's not "when it mattered most". That will be in the playoffs.

Come on man, this was due to bad officiating with the REC and the SEC office in Birmingham controlling reviews and a vast conspiracy to keep the Tigers down.
I did my medical training in St Louis. Missouri does not belong in the SEC.
Coach Bryant knew we needed black players before we officially accepted them, but was told no. I don't know for sure if it was the governor or the administration (or both) who said no, but there was no doubt that he wanted/needed black players.
It must be sad to be a fan of a team that sucked so bad in the CFP that you have to change your alter of another team and trash post about a fellow SEC school. We should never have let you into the conference.

I get a feeling that everyone outside the state of Alabama (and only half of that) will be rooting for Indiana.

The Big 10 boards aren't trashing Alabama, they are trashing the SE, including "those over rated pussies from Texas AM". But hey, if you hate Alabama more than that, good for you.
Do they not teach some basic economics to football players at LSU?

Well if they had done the right thing and put in Oklahoma State we wouldn’t have this problem

I'm confused. The BCS charter was for #1 to play #2, which was LSU and Alabama, not Oklahoma State.

Haven't looked at Georgia, but ours is absolute murder.
Franchione did a good job at Bama considering the NCAA cloud we were under, including waxing Saban's LSU at Tiger Stadium. But he told all of us that he was not leaving and told us to "hold the rope" the day before he left. He never spoke to the team. You probably shouldn't hire a coach willing to stab his previous team in the back. Time will tell if that includes Lane.
