The Bediako thing never should have happened, and I'm glad it's over as it was bad for college basketball in the long run. It should also be noted that Auburn's Filip Jovic played pro in Serbia & elsewhere in Europe

They bet on themselves, but don't tell anyone.
The favoritism shown ND is, and always has been, infuriating. For me it dates back to 1966 when we were undefeated and were going for our third natty in a row, but it went to ND after they TIED Michigan State and refused to go to a bowl. I have despised them and the positive bias they get ever since. Screw ND and the horse they rode in on.
If you mean he will equal Saban in terms of how crazy the board is about him at any given time about any given thing, then maybe. If you are talking about football results, then no way. One of Saban's secrets to long term success was being so disciplined that he would not let a natty go to his head, or the team's, so they wouldn't let up and could win another one. I don't think Lane has that kind of discipline, but we'll see.
It's been crazy seeing all these Indiana fans act like they know all there is to know about college football after having 2 good seasons.

I thought the refs favored us because of Saban, are you now saying they favor us because they love/fear DeBoer? You need new material.
They should let Vegas determine the seeding.

It's not so much the byes, it's the seeding that results in who gets them.
Carpetbaggers are Yankees. Somalis are something even worse.
Fortunately, Shirley just got the ball rolling. Real investigators are at it now. Shirley is just a straw man to the left.

Good point. It also sucks to have SEC vs SEC yet again this early in the playoffs, AND another SEC rematch (Bama-Oklahoma). I know it's from seeding, but come on man.
I generally watch close Bama games with the sound off. It makes me less nervous somehow, and I find I can see what's going on better without the distraction of the announcers.

He has a team full of 5th year seniors and juniors with tons of snaps under their belts. It's going to be experience vs talent. Can a no star DL with 5 years of experience beat a 5 star freshman OT? That's the question you'll see at multiple positions tomorrow.
When you fire someone in your office to whom you owe 2 weeks notice, you walk them to the door and pay them for the 2 weeks. You don't keep them around the office to cause trouble.
Because we're Alabama. We're always confident, win or lose. Why should we be afraid of anyone? Maybe that's LSU's problem - going into games afraid they're going to lose.
I don't understand why money to players doesn't come with a contract spelling out each side's obligations, including being available to play in every game, including any post season play. Otherwise, give back the money.
Lane at LSU is going to be fun. I like him, but he is what he is, and it comes through eventually.
