My mom just tested positive for Covid-19. She is at home right now & in day 5 of the virus. She has felt quite a bit better today than the 1st few days. Day 8 or 9 is has been the toughest days for patients so far. She is high risk & has respratory issues. She's been taking her oxygen treatments religously so hopefully that's helping. I had come to Prattville to see her & my dad when she started showing symptoms. I am now here for the next 2 weeks. Please pray for her health & recovery & that me & my dad don't catch it. Thank you all!

Prayers for all. My mom is 81 with past respiratory issues. So I know the feeling, however she is doing well with no infection of the virus. Good luck E.

They already had her on antibiotics for pneumonia. They did bloodwork today and are getting results back tomorrow and Thursday. Some of that is to see how her white blood cells are doing. She’s supposed to start on those trail treatments people are taking for COVID-19 now soon.

Prayers lifted up. Any idea of where she may have contracted it?

We sent my 82 y/o mom off to our lake house last week because my office had not been given permission to work from home yet (we were all sent home the next day). We sent her with two weeks of groceries and told her to lock herself in and not even let the neighbors come to visit.

When she needs groceries we will get them, and then take them and drop them outside the door and she can come out and get them after we leave.

Probably from work. She’s a dental assistant and worked on a patient who came in last week. The patient said he had the flu a few days earlier but was fine then. Who knows if he really had the flu or a virus? I could strangle him for coming in & the dentist for letting my mom do work on him.
