This thread is miserable.
I wouldn’t say we are the most miserable fanbase but possibly the most toxic.

I officially cancelled my OTV membership this morning
re: Why don’t red states round up homeless and send them to CA?

Let’s handle the illegals first. Plus homeless people are still citizens. Some are there because of issues (mental) out of their control as well. Others choose that lifestyle for drugs.

I'm not shocked Matt Walsh is fanning the flames of emotional response
What emotional response do you keep talking about? Police/ICE were being attacked. City and state property destroyed. Endless numbers of uninvolved citizens put directly in harms way.
Was the arrest of J6er’s an “emotional” response? All I saw was some pushing and shoving a couple broken windows.
How would you have felt if “conservative states” wouldn’t have allowed or cooperated with the Feds to arrest citizens involved in the J6 protesters? You definitely seemed very emotional over that and very emotional today.

Did you feel the same about the J6 protesters? Well if they haven’t committed any other crimes before blah blah blah. Or remember “no one is above the law” we have heard that for about 10 years. That doesn’t mean everyone to you??

Having the revenue of 20.5m isn’t the question how many can afford 20.5m out of their budget.
I can definitely see the Big and the SEC splintering off in the near future in football.
So does this mean UConn is gonna win the basketball championship each year cause they will use their 20.5 on basketball.
What a mess.

Apparently AU is planning on an additional 100+ athletic scholarships.
So the donors will be sending money to the school for more scholarships instead of donating to OTV. Or maybe both.
Can you imagine what these smaller schools are going to have to do raising donations like Vandy, Miami etc.

I wasn’t aware no limit on scholarships. I knew there was something surrounding walkons and the judge not wanting to do away with walkons opportunities

That’s how the powers that be want it. All the gray area.
Easy solution would be if you sponsor a kid at say Auburn you have to spend an equivalent amount on a player or players at 1 or multiple other schools.
All I know is I will be canceling OTV tomorrow

New NIL rules shite

Don’t see it discussed anywhere. I was out of the loop for most of last week so I’m trying make sense of the ruling.
So each school can spend $20.5m that will increase over time but for now 20.5m to spend on athletes.
However athletes can still receive current NIL deals but they must be approved through the new clearing house to be approved as real revenue generating advertising and not just paying players. (I’m sure there will be zero greasing the palms in that scenario)
Each school can determine how much of that 20.5m can be divided up among all teams under the athletic director.
Am I missing anything?

What a weird arse recruiting cycle. Not that we are behind or anything just with OVs going on you’d expect more commitments for all teams. Guess all the money jocking is holding back teams and players.
Rumor is USCw is paying 50k just for commitments regardless if they stick or not.

Like I told you on page one. Feet is the difference in getting recruited or not when it comes to OL. Many have big bodies, few have big bodies with great feet.
