I feel like the risk of this probably outweighs the reward. Seems like something you read about "doctors" trying in the 1700s.

When a non-vaccinated person is exposed to hepatitis B, they use hepatitis B immune globulin.
There is some science to it. Obviously, we won’t know until we try it, but they can pathogen reduce plasma products now so the risk/benefit is better.

I'm no expert, obviously... It just seems like a rarely used technique. If it were as easy as taking a healthy person's blood that has recovered from a disease or illness and injecting it into a sick person to heal them, it would probably be much more widely known and practiced. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures...

They are using plasma from a recovered person that has the antibodies already in blood. Has been used many times for different things in the past.

NEJM Study
Apparently, it was not effective with Ebola. Maybe they'll have better luck with Corona.

The 103 year old patient who recovered in China had this technique administered.

Thursday afternoon update. She hasn’t had a fever in two days. Part of the ADPH’s criteria for getting off Quarantine is to not have a fever or other symptoms three full days before the quarantine end date. Her quarantine end date is March 31. She is scheduled to go get tested again April 6 because her test that came back positive came back on March 23. In an attempt to try to regain some relative normalcy, About middle of next week I’m going to see if she’ll talk to the doctor about going ahead and getting the test done again to see if it’s gone if by that point she will have been without symptoms for a week

Happy for you and your fam E, but 99.5% are "on the good side of the statistics on this thing".

(329,227,746 / 100) * 0.5 = 1,646,138.73 (in US)
. . . still the lucky may be those who get it early or tail-end, if they're in need of hospital beds. If there's a silver lining.
Thanks, for the update E.
